Though a reboot of the first SNES/SFC game, Natsume really added a ton to the game. More powerups, the roulette wheel to get powered up if you find the NPC's in each stage, while keeping the core of the game quite intact.

Bought the game some weeks ago and was rather perturbed to find out the hard way the easy mode requires you to grind the in-game funny money to unlock.

@@KwadDamyj The game is friggin' hard.
I had a similar fear but don't worry it's a very short grind. On the first level just move up and down the starting area and keep shooting the ghosts. If you die or run out of time, just continue, it all counts towards your total (you can check that in the options). From the first time I booted up the game it took me 24.5 minutes to unlock easy mode so it's thankfully not long.
And thank God that I did because this game is death incarnate! NO way I could've beaten that with lives. It made 1cc'ing Wild Guns Reloaded on hard look like a cakewalk!
