One thing that I don’t know if you mentioned. If the seller doesn’t want to meet in a public area or during the day time immediately avoid it ( they will most likely try to scam or harm you ) they might pull a fast one and try to change your mind
Do we have to worry if we buy an unlocked phone secondhand but then it can get blacklisted later ? I’ve heard some cases about this and idk why an unlocked phone could still get blacklisted?
I normally go to the carrier store for times like those to avoid that possibility since the phone can still be under the person’s name so they can report it.

I would meet at the carrier store with the person I’m buying it from to have it verified and transfer the phone under my name. That way you’re the only one able to report it stolen
