I was shock to hunt down 2 wanted grunt who gotten alot of kills from Spartan and UNSC! Which actually freshen the halo game alot! Grunts aren't to mess with despite there numbers! Remember the unsc forces struggle to hold them back because they were extremely lethal with or without Brute or Elites at there side! And don't forget the Grunt's uprising! They were destroying the convinent like crazy! Which got an Arbiter to intervene. Those bastard are crazy lethal bro!

Damn, them calling out surprise attacks as the grunts jump down from the tower is pretty cool in action. The little sparks from the kig-yar wrist shields after defeat, along with the rag doll being improved.
Please make more of these, the AI is more intuitive than any other Halo. I'd love to see elites vs brutes or even different bosses fighting each other if you were to figure out how to spawn them

I have been forced numerous times to backpeddle and re-engage a brute/elite because of a group of grunts. Addendum- I would live to see a group of grunts led by Bipbap against a bunch of kig-yar led by Barroth at various different ranges of engagement.
Hopefully we'll get a Banished Civil War in a future Halo Infinite update, it would be really cool to see this sort of thing play out in the game Either that, or an Arbiter update that adds allied Grunts and Elites as part of the Swords of Sanghelios
God I love these new Jackal voice lines. They sound like vicious angry mercs looking for something to shoot. Which is totally lore accurate. In fact the Jackal voice lines is the reason why I was routing for them the whole time.
@@GeV7891 Oh I fully get both of your sentiments. Your hatred of Jackals could have spawned from being one shot by them over and over if you played halo 2 on legendary. (never owned a copy of halo 2 myself.) Also I think grunts are kind of cute too. I certainly felt bad when I shot one that was running away in Halo Reach. It just happens that I like Jackals more than them, so that's why I was hoping they won instead of the grunts. A lot like supporting your favorite football team now that I think about it. The comparison feels pretty spot on in my case. Go jackals! lol.
The return of AI battles! Though I did see a tip when I was loading in my campaign that UNSC grunts don’t put up much of a fight past grunts, I am worried that this might be the weakest in terms of Marine combat efficiency of the series if you do ever bring them up to fight the Banished in one of your future AI battles.
@@flavamusicaccount1011 yeah, I think how they layered the weapon damage types that Marines with most basic UNSC equipment will show them lacking in the initial stages. Giving them upgraded weapons though I feel, at least in my opinion, should have a stronger chance on harder enemies.

They can actually hold their own decently, and giving them rockets and skewers and stuff is a force to be reckoned with. Just gotta keep berserk brutes and sword elites (if you can) away from them. These might actually be the toughest marines in the series, although their AI doesn’t seem all that bright sometimes.
Interesting thing about the grunts is that they have the most character; there's a point in Halo 2 where you have a grunt cowering in a corrider sobbing its brains out, terrified, and it's hard not to feel really sad for the little guy.
This video is actually a good example of one of my problems with the campaign: big battles with lots of crossfire between 2 or more factions (present in all halos except maybe 4 and 5) are just non-existent.
Those weren't a thing in ODST either, and they weren't all that common in the original trilogy as well, depending on how you're defining "big battles". Usually it's just a squad's worth of infantry plus a vehicle for them to ride along with the player in. I think just like ODST, the tone of Infinite is more focused on the idea of the player being alone than other Halos.

I like how at 0:53 the dying grunt randomly flings forward like as if something knocked him that direction. Nothing did, which is what makes it so random
It took 343 a while to really get the ai to behave inteligently but they really nailed it here, this is some of the best more fun covenant, i mean banished to fight in any halo

i'm really loving the campaign! They brought back so many iconic things, (even the curved backpack grunts from halo 1)
If they add more enemies, I would like them to add a Skrimisher ultra with regular energy shields along side the wrist one's...

That tip is... inaccurate. Marines with heavy weapons will fuck shit up, just basic ones with ARs and such die easy
