The term "reheat" is used to mean utilizing oxygen remaining in a turbine expansion gas to combust additional fuel, thereby increasing the expansion gas temperature and permitting further, efficient power extraction from that gas
Why reheating is done in gas turbine?
The reheat cycle increases the turbine work and consequently the net work of the cycle. This is accomplished not by changing the compressor work or the turbine inlet temperature but instead by dividing the turbine expansion into two or more parts with constant pressure heating before each expansion.

Reheat steam turbines are efficient, flexible and reliable machines based on a broad design platform, capable of satisfying a wide range of steam cycles, site conditions and operating modes for both 50 and 60 Hz applications.

Work output from the turbine, operating between two specific pressure levels, could be increased by expanding the working fluid i.e. gas or air in stages and reheating the working fluid between two successive stages.
