Yeah, but he wasn't that bad in the first seasons. Back then he used to have moments like this a lot more, like in Gorizilla or with the whole Adrien's mom movie thing, and they actually sold the idea that he was being genuine there and deep down actually cared about Adrien. However, they made him lose his mind entirely I believe around the time of Chat Blanc... just to end up redeeming him at the finale anyway 🫠

@@emilyschomer6715 I mean your its not hard to fake care but at the same time its clear we are suppoused to take that gabe cares for his son as legit..even if the dude is actively bad at it. and to be fair THIS gabriel hasn't kicked him through a ceiling or tried akumatizing him(at least at that time) and I think this took place before gorizilla..where Ladybug is the one who asked adrien to jump...and gabe issue was he genuinely didnt think adrienwas in any danger becuase he thought adrien was chat noir..where when he considered he might be wrong(which we know he wasn't but still) he immediatly let LB go to save adrien.
Gabe definitly sucks..but his issue is because all the damage gets reveresed and he knows if he wins he can reverse the damage with the ladybug anyway...he doesnt actually see anyone as actually in danger..even more when he has the illsuion of consent since people have to agree to the powers and the illusion of control becuase he can take teh powers away and talk to his victim if they go too far and try to course correct.
I think its basically implied but not ouright stated that gabe's real personality does care...but due to using his mriaculous the worng way so many times his personality was getting warped like a akuma victim...though he's clearly still pretty bad as a person...
gabe thinks he is doing all this for his family and knows when he stalls or blows adrien off that its cz he is working to keep the company afloat and to try to save the mom...but he doesnt REALLY understand that it doesnt change that adirn ehas no context for that and just sees his dad as distant when he needs him most.
on onehand someone can not care but pretend like they do...but then someone else can care but be REALLY bad at showing it and does it the wrong way...and gabe seems to be the later rather than the former even if ist understandable to think he doesn't really care when the show tries to make him look extra evil to distract you from his few genuine moments.

We keep getting blind sighted by Gabriel. He is so horrible all the time but then we get small moments like this of him being a decent person, but it’s such a 180 that or seems so sweet.
I’m so happy that Adrien is able to have people who are willing to help him out of the horrible situation he’s in.
I dont like how Gabriel's story ended, he should have gone to prison instead.
It honestly feels realistic. Bad people usually aren’t awful all of the time, which makes things more complicated for the people they’re hurting

Exactly, have any of you seen big hero 6 because whenever I bring up the Gabriel's ending I like to compare it to the ending of the big hero 6 movie and how they did the ending better like:
They were both doing it to get loved ones back
They both hurt people along the way
They both caused damage to the city
The only difference being one was sent to prison while the other was treated as a hero

Hawkmoth can only release mutliple akuma's under some very specific circumstances, mainly if the akuma multiplies because it hasn't been purified after the villain has been defeated or if he boosts his power somehow.

Hawk Moth can only send one akuma at the time. For him to create another supervillain, first he needs to remove the akuma he is using. However, one akuma is able to akumatize multiple people if they are connected, either physically or emotionally, to the object it enters. However, this "one akuma" rule can be bended if Hawk Moth creates a supervillain with the right superpower...

A miraculous bingo card would defo have to include Ladybug yeeting Chat Noir, Chat sacrificing himself in some way, Marinette forgetting how to function in Adrian's presence or just the mention of him, "She's just a friend", Gabe being a terrible father, Chloe bullying, Marinette falling or otherwise doing something clumsy, Alya being the only one with braincells, Nino saying "Dude", Juleka and Rose together among some other things I'm probably forgetting

@Night_Light9123 Yeah, he can only release one at a time, normally. So, in order to release a second, the first would have to be destroyed. However, less restrictions means he doesn't have the 5 minute times.

For me the only thing that made the Miraculous Christmas special worth watching was the songs, I mean some people say that the songs aren't that great either but I think the vocals are amazing!

The reason Bryce’s singing doesn’t bother me is because I have heard worse. Specifically those British children singing off key from Thomas and friends songs. That was fricken ear grating! My ears were in so much pain from those songs as a kid!

Hawkmoth can ONLY send out one akuma at a time.When he send more in later episode that is due to using other miracoules or any other type of power .he could akumatized himself and give him self the abilities to send more than 1 akuma (which he did in the futcher)
As well as can u pls react to the new your special or the shanaghi special. I recommend the ny special they are way more realistic as story telling as well as yes he can feel and control the tail most of the time . Same thing with his cat ears

My favorite part of this special, is how they confirmed that Gabriel is The Easter Bunny
You make an interesting observation about Hawkmoth's methodology. There's a couple reasons why he only sends out one (often weaker) akuma at a time. The first is that that's typically all the Butterfly can do: one at a time. The few times he's managed to create more were under specific circumstances, when he utilized other Miraculous powers and/or technology to boost himself. This is only season one still, so he hasn't had a chance to figure any of that out yet. The second is that he's a sleezy coward and a terrible strategist who would rather sit safely in his lair even if it means giving the heroes an easier time. Most of his plans end up failing miserably because he's desperate and will try anything, and that includes akumatizing anyone and everyone regardless of how powerful their akumas will be. See, akuma powers are determined by the akumatized person themself. It has to be related to their emotional state, both in what they can do and how powerful they are. So he's mostly just working with whatever he can get his hands on.

is actually a perfect way of summing up one of Marinette's biggest character flaws. She's too used to being unable to rely on other people (between the adults refusing to punish her bully and her being the only superhero that can purify akumas AND undo all the damage from the fights), and she's become way too headstrong and stubborn because of it. That coupled with how protective she is of Adrien makes her do some really stupid shit by completely discounting his point of view cause she can't remove herself from her own perspective. It's a serious issue that she's yet to resolve.
The bingo card idea would be create for one of the specials they can be very random especially the Paris one

But for real, the Miraculouses have a protection feature built in that confuses and distracts people when they get too close to figuring out their secret identities. It causes people to favor literally any other explanation over the truth. It can only be overridden by cold, hard evidence like watching them transform or something equally damning
