@@JChaosMaster there isn't a sega cd version or a Saturn, there was however a PSX version and PC port (X2 strangely was the only one to lack one before x legacy collection).

@@Triumph._. he probably hid the life bar in the emulator layers and edited another one in. Since isnt planinning to take damage either way, its just to look fancy
How would it have been “twice epic”? This art style is way better than the later games and much more timeless. This game is already the best X game in the series.

Sick gameplay & great editing as always! How long does it take for you to edit a 1 hour playthrough? (Small note: You forgot the second "l" in "Playable" in the title! The other video titles are good though.)
I think he would have to look at everytime he fired a charged shot, add effects, then do it again, but those aren’t the old effects that he adds, so it must take a long time
@@cowgaming7186 the effort this guy puts in his videos is crazy, since he is adding light and other effects to make it even better, it must take a lot of time, let alone the attempts to do stages and sections without damage.
Hmm maybe you should've used the videos from the Sega Saturn version. It's actually much smoother compared the videos from the PS1 version. Your editing is top notch btw.
I just ordered the legacy collection on the GameCube because it's the one collection where they used the PlayStation versions with the animated scenes in it for X3.

Considering someone remade *the entire game* I can't help but want the fan game's author to make it so that Zero can play with the saber as main weapon and a non chargeable shot as secondary, with two separate buttons, instead of X3's cumbersome one button affair

All the Zero Project really needs is a mashup of the Arranged and SNES soundtrack, the superior prototype Sigma, Bit, Byte and Godkarmachine replacing the tiny headed final sprites (albeit touched up) and you’d have the Definitive X3 experience.
Even though this is a mod, I wish that this was in the game has an option, where you can select either X or Zero. Yes I know that it's X4 & X5 that does it. This still would have been nice though.

It's a combination of Zero Project V4.4 AND the PC/PSX version, like someone else said.

Since at least X4 you can have one button to fire whatever weapon is selected and another to fire the buster.

X3 Zero's max charge was the two blasts and one saber strike. X can earn the Z saber too, but the process is a bit convoluted.
