This is easily the best portable high-end "swiss army" knife audio interface of the year, and this opinion is coming from a studio operating the Merging Anubis Premium SPS, RME Babyface Pro FS, and UA Apollo X4 for various network audio projects, routing situations, client (DSP) plug-in requests, etc. The 6x6 headphone amp is outright addicting to listen to, oozing with dynamics and high frequency detail. I don't know how we survived without an OTG input/output option in the past. A portable reference-grade standalone clock with great preamps that can do all of this at a reasonable price point? Our studio is really impressed with the Revolution 6x6, so much so, we felt compelled to leave this comment.

What's your opinion on the ADC on the 6×6?.. I've been looking for a video to demonstrate that part but haven't found any yet. I'm looking for affordable excellent converters that can produce professional mixes without compromise. So I'm curious if this is the one.
Here is an example of the 2x2's ADC which offers similar performance to the 6x6.

I bought this interface yesterday expecting better sound quality than my 2x2 version, and yes it did. I personally found that the line out quite a lot differ from my previous 2x2. 2x2 has the character of the solid and clear low mid, 6x6 has the whole sound more big and opened. stereo image expanded a lot and the mid high, and high is really clear. low end feels like more expanded. overall 2x2 sounds more mid and mid low focused and 6x6 sounds like opening up the whole sound of the 2x2 (sounding big) and polishing the mid high, and high. the speration is improved, feel like this is sounding in big dimension. I love black lion audio, I'll wait for the next revolution. I understood why they released this model that can be function as DAC and ADC, I'm not doing the podcast but it's quite useful to use usb org for plugging the phone and monitor or print the source inside the daw.

back in the day the dream was to get our interfaces modded by black lion in order to make them sound better. Fast forward to 2024 do you guys make a super high end interface that sounds better than most of the competition? I would like to buy some of your gear but im gonna need something thats an upgrade from my apollo twin X.

Send 2 channels as well as clock my other interface??
Yes! Put the 6x6 in standalone mode; choose the desired sample rate, and you'll be able to send clock and audio from the preamps of the Revolution 6x6 over S/PDIF.

How would you describe the preamps? And compared to the auteur.thanks
The Auteur thickens up when driven harder, while the Revolution preamps retain their sound throughout most of the gain range. Neither is better, they're just different tools for different jobs. :)
Im considering the interface however the support from the company is lousy. Thats a big problem considering they are based in Chicago.
