As a guitar player of over 50 years I have learned how to recover when I hit a bad note because you can always wiggle it or push it up so that it sounds deliberate. You can't do that on a piano. That said, I know that pianists can do as many takes as they need to get it right, but even live I have not heard Lola hit a wrong note. Her hand-overs are the most accurate. The camera angle of course also adds immeasurably to the experience.
interesting view from a guitar player - me being primarily a keyboardist/pianist since 6. The size and location of the keys stays the same so it comes down to an instinctiveness knowing where every note is in relation to your body's location to the keys. Being very in tune with one's body in relation to everything else around you. Lot of repetition (practice) like any activity where your muscle memory knows exactly where to put the limb, finger and so forth. I would experiment with jumping around the keyboard like in this piece and what I would find exasperating is I would consistently hit the wrong note - but always the same wrong note and would have to unlearn the bad form. I wonder if Lola would have trouble with a piece if she didn't move her whole body around so much. My guess is she would, just as I would have trouble if I played with a more expressive body style.

that's how I found Lola, through Chi Mai, I couldn't believe what I was hearing when I first heard it by accident (auto-suggested playlist in background), I had to pause everything I was doing and rush to my browser tab to see who was playing those layered melodies, now I could never go back to the standard piano transcription of Chi Mai, and the same for this piece
