    I’ve been to South Africa and Nigeria, and seeing us on the currency was very empowering.

      When a black man is on the currency, the white man will devalue that currency.

      It's basically the same thing for East Texans a whole lot of us is Texans love to wear shorts and sandals or flip-flops as they call him here if we go into the city like Dallas or Houston or anywhere else anybody everybody who's wearing flip-flops will definitely get roasted

    Oshay, African American men wear sandals... You're tripping. In Chitown there's a really long lake shore, and we live at the beach. I think millineals missed out on a lot, maybe because of gentrification in a lot of areas. But also because the rap culture changed our men. In a nutshell, enjoy your sandals!

    As a cultural consultant helping Africans and Americans navigate cultural differences, I appreciated this video. The focus of this TH-cam channel resonates with me, and the kind of work I do as a presenter and writer with my own TH-cam channel.

    This is very interesting, when I was growing up in uganda the 60s and 70s we had alot of whites,light skins people,everywhere and even right now you have a significant population of them. For sure me I don't stare.

    I purchased a motorbike to get around at my convenience, it took 8 Months!! to get my Log Book which wasn't actually a book but a one page form. The frustration with the lack of urgency can be infuriating, especially when you've already paid for a service prior to getting it...which is something I have learned to never do.

    • @gerrytushh
      @gerrytushh ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow......8 months to get a log book for a motorcycle seems like eternity to me 😮 As a local person, I can't imagine the cause of such a long delay in Uganda 😮 My sympathies!!

    Huuuum interesting just watching today. About work permit atleast u had to wait for only 8 months, some African in USA wait for years or even never given to them. About Sandles USA, EUROPE & OTHERS ARE COLD COUNTRIES THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T WEAR SANDLES ONLY SUMMER TIMES & AT D BEACH. ALSO, U MAY HAVE TO WEAR IN ANOTHER COUNTRY WHEREVER YOU ARE GOING FOR HOLIDAY. ANOTHER, U NEED TO UNDERSTAND UGANDA IS STILL DEVELOPING, ITS NOT YET DEVELOPED AS USA. STARING IS SOMETHING U SHOULD EXPECT, WHEREVER I GO COUNTRY SIDE WHERE THERE ARE FEWER BLACK'S I GET D STARES A LOT HERE IN D UK. ACTUALLY SOME GO AS FAR AS TOUCHING TO SEE IF IT CAN REMAIN IN THE IR FINGERS. I GUESTS THAT'S JUST NORMAL FOR EVERYONE'S.

    The picture of the guy in the thumb now is embarrassing. You do not have to make his lips and eyes like that. It’s a shame that we do the dumbest things to get TH-cam views for cash. That’s why TH-cam need to stop paying people. Because of his thumbnail picture he is a one and done.

    Oshay is leaving out the fact that some loser men with no job or regular job history think women should financially support them

  • @dreislife693
    @dreislife693 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The thing they left out about America women is they have much better options than oshay. He can throw money around over there but here he on equal playing field and he can't attract women that's usually the case with 90% of the brothers that leave here searching for women from other countries. That's why they don't bring em back here they know once those women get here and see us she's gone from him in no time. It happens a lot.

    Regarding banking in Uganda, depending on the bank, you get your bank statement on email. You get charged when you go to the bank for it to be printed. Request for the email statement option.

    Watching yall really makes me want to come to Uganda. @OSHAY always tells me to come. I might come this summer

  • @JohnArmwood
    @JohnArmwood ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Americans wear sandals in the summer. In cities like New York or Atlanta where I live.people where sandals. Only the newly rich feel a need to have a fancy car or fancy designer cloths etc. It has a lot to do with your family background and your level of education. I dressed up with a professional uniform when I was a trial attorney in Atlanta but once I became a college professor I dressed more casually all the time. Duke’s experience is the of the newly middle class who fell they have to prove themselves. No one I know in New York or Atlanta behaves that way but I am a lot older. I am seventy. It is sad to see his attitude.

    Mr. O’shea being an immigrant in a county is different from being a natural born and everything is available. Ask immigrants in the US how long it takes to get a Work permit and other documents, you will be shocked. Again in Africa and Uganda things can be frustratingly slow🤔

    I went to Ghana, I'm a Black Canadian living in the USA, at a hotel, they forbidden me of bringing back exterior food, because they had a restaurant in the hotel. I thought they were jocking xD.

      The hotel food is always expensive for sure, the advantage you get,you don't get food poison. Even in Uganda with everyone selling food, one thing scaring me is food poison. Doctors both in Uganda and United States are very expensive.

      Getting a bank statement via mail or text that is possible but not sure if that is applicable to Kenyans only
