I agree, when talking about music she speaks and acts different. Interviewers loose a chance to break down the "genius" when they focus on stupid overdone questions, but this interviewer did quite the opposite. The result was interesting and refreshing, he did amazing :)
She always gives due credit to people for their ideas, concepts, etc. That's integrity. She values others' contribution as much as her own.

Unlike many other pop acts, she is an actual musician and songwriter so she knows she contributes a lot to her work which grants her no problem with crediting those who are part of the process.

I don't usually write comments on TH-cam but I got to say that this has been one of my favorites Mariah Carey interviews. She is a smart, funny, beautiful and talented person and all of this can be proved with this video. @no name a majority of education is done by art, people listen to music in the times where theyre most connected to themselves. Those moments where ones full attention is given to a song, imagination, the most important feature that every human posseses is sparked. Yes, it can be done with books also but music is quicker.. All that to say, when people use music and not just let it play, alot is learned. So beware of what you listen to, you might shift your whole life perspective. Lyrics are basically like someone reading to you, which we all grew up with.

Mariah needs to do more events like this for ex. a seminar, a conference, a TedTalk, or a talk show that showcases her knowledge and abilities in music. I would definitely listen to her.

This is probably one of the greatest Mariah interviews in a loooong time. You could tell she's enjoying it and being her real self...she's comfortable but also allowed herself to be vulnerable.
