Thats what sets Mariah apart from Whitney and celine. She writes and produce her music. as well as singing the most difficult songs. She's a genius ❤
No. That's what she always says and brags about for you to prefer her to Whitney and Celine. It's just like Nicki bragging about songwriting for you to prefer her to cardi and think they are the best. It's clout. And it's not like they are writers, they always co-write. Mariah dosen't even know how to play the piano, so think about that.
A process known as vocal production exists. An artist can still be involved in production in other ways even if they don't sit down to write. Whitney has declared that her production is her voice. I haven't heard a single Mariah Carey song that even comes close to what Whitney did with "I will always love you." "I have nothing”. I’ve never cried listening to Mariah , but I will always love you made me cry .
@@KendraJackson-fb8bh Well i have never cried to Whitney song either, but i do prefer Mariah voice better over WH. Mariah is more involved in the creating process than most mainstream singers , wheather you like it or not. That makes her more creative and more of a complete musician than Whitney.
Now granted, Mariah is not complete musician either because she cant play any instruments or piano so she needs help bringing a song to life. But she is involved with everything from scratch, from composing and to structuring the instrumentals and melody and most of all writes the lyrics. Diddy said back in the day Mariah doesn't need help in the studio she just wants company.

This is what separated her from Whitney Houston and Celine Dion as an artist…. Whitney was the best vocalist and Celine Dion put on the best performances but Mariah Carey was the best overall artist…. Singer/songwriter…… Thats how I rate the Vocal Trinity

and it shows with her discography, it has so much more depth even if you don’t know she writes and produces her on songs only because it is the result of being spiritually and creatively connected with the song writing process.
That is what puts Mariah over the edge for me with other signers that sure can sing well and sell a song but they simply are interprets.

It's funny how Mariah is categorised as bipolar and mentally ill, maybe even stigmatised with this diagnosis. Doctors are telling her: The way you are is not normal. So they give her meds, so she will be happier or calmer. But that person that writes all these songs is what people have loved. The words she wrote in her own despair helped so many other people and so many people could relate to what she was talking about. I am thinking that these meds are ruining the creative, upbeat, loved person that she is. These meds destroy the genius in her as she is not writing songs like she used to. Maybe it cut off that workaholic that never sleeps in her. Maybe she is more caring to herself now. Maybe it keeps her from being extremely depressed and suicidal. But maybe these meds also keep her from being full of energy and from that genius in songwriting. Maybe these meds have so many side effects that she is always tired. I know what it means when an illness takes away the strength to sing and breathe well enough to sing her songs. But maybe it's her meds and the side effects that make her so tired that she can't perform well and can't sing the best that she possibly could? Maybe she takes her meds to always be the best mom that she can possibly be?? I love you, Mariah, and I wish you could answer me those questions.... Stalkers, I have never had any mental illness or diagnosis and you will not make me have one!!! I have never taken antidepressants or anything of that nature and I never ever will!! This is the truth and nothing but the truth. May GOD help me!!
