300 gm (maida/)bleached refined white flour/all purpose flour 1tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 2tbsp water ( first) combine the ingredients and make them form crumbs then add melted ghee ( clarified butter) or Vanaspati ( dalda) ghee can be made by boiling churned cream for about 30 mins. mix well add 2tpsp more water knead the dough (10mins) form small balls out of it let them rest for 1 minute and flatten them as shown in the video bake in an oven on convection mode for 34 mins in the lower rack and then transfer them into the upper rack for 1 minute You can garnish them with poppy/ seasme seeds
I did everything according to your instructions but they got burnt and came out really soft. They broke as I touched them. Where do you think I’m going wrong? 😣
@@Alqadeer12 when they're just out of the oven they tend to be soft, not just these kulchas almost all cookies come out soft when fresh out of the oven, don't touch them when they're just out of the oven also, try to bake them at a slightly lower temperature Hope this helps you May Allah bless you

Thank you so much for teaching us how to make kulchas. Unfortunately, like some others who have commented, mine were also overdone. I took them out as I saw that they were getting too dark, but I was still too late and the edges were dark brown. The taste was also slightly soapy, which is a sign of too much baking soda. The texture was excellent, but next time I'll reduce the cooking time and use 1/2 tsp soda. I guess everyone's ovens work slightly differently.

My kulchas burnt in 35 minutes. The next batch was ready in 15 minutes.
You should check oven setting .

If you have convection microwave oven then yes, bake it on 220 c. However if you have simple microwave, then no.
