An easy upgrade path is to slap PDAF on their established models: G85, GX9, etc. I would love them to do an LX III, with PDAF and a non-powered zoom (I dislike PZ, one more thing to break). The dust on the sensor problem needs to be fixed.
Great video guys. All us G9ii boys which I'm one of are about to have a reckoning. LUMIX just outdid their flagship video camera with a photo camera, tht can only mean they have a new flagship in the pipeline. Right?
In the pipeline, certainly yes! When it comes out is another story.
Great to view a video discussing m43 from a video perspective. Did you saw the video of Rob Trek about their yearly m43 discussion?
I will have to look that up today! I dont think I have.
@@RhettThompsonFilmI saw your second part of this series today.
This was a blast man! Thanks again!!!!!
Great comments about the G9II roll out. Now that I think of it, there are far fewer G9 II videos available; the delay between the announcement and being able to buy it I have always thought was a bad idea; and when they did release it, it was combined with the Leica 100-400mm, an excellent but niche lens.
That was a good point I wouldnt have thought of since I dont plan on getting one right away anyway, but the 100-400 kinda makes sense since sports and wildlife was popular with the first G9 but still very niche indeed.
LETS GOOOOO
I’m halfway through 😅 I’ll finish watching tomorrow, but you made some great points Matt about the S5II and S5IIx differences and about the need for a more entry level Lumix camera
Excellent discussion, but omg it sounded like someone was recording on a basketball court with all of that squeaking.
It was a bird haha, I couldn’t find any bird reduction techniques so thanks for hanging in there!
@@RhettThompsonFilm Ohhh, hahaha. Okay, that makes the squeaking at least a little more endearing lol.
Yeah that was my love bird bro my bad hahahaha
@@cesarlorca_ Hahaha, all good! At first I thought it was someone fidgeting with a water bottle cap off camera or something lol.
