In this hypothetical new account, I would love love love to see the account restriction of avoiding all characters you have built previously. This means a completely different experience, and a tougher one at that (at least in the begining). Because you won't have any of the broken mond-liyue 4stars that carries most f2p accounts. Additionally it'd be almost as if you're forced to play off-meta, considering most of what you have built is meta.

@@shaykirby5910 Care to offer your reasons why? He needs content, and prior to the desert stuff, he was miserable and bored out of his mind. Why go with a *third* account just to play the same meta characters and have effectively the same playing experience that doesn't offer anything new? And on top of all that, the game is insanely easy as it is, in my opinion, this type of challenge would be entertaining play and follow.

Tashman, if you end up starting another account like you said for content, it might be pretty fun to do a challenge account. Like spear/sword/catalyst/bow/claymore only. Maybe add other modifiers to the challenge, like no shield characters, no healing, no food, etc. It can help with seeing the game in another light perhaps, and it will keep the game from being "too easy". Just a thought 😊
I recommend a "current banner characters only" account.
Its a never ending chellange and gets fresh with every new banner.
Sometimes only a party of 1 or 2 characters are allowed if you own only 1 or 2.

The only concern I'd have with that is being soft-locked from certain activities because of a missing element, but other than that, sounds pretty fun! It would be interesting to see the tashman's thought process for certain activities due to restrictions, and how he chooses to build his characters. Like if one of the modifiers was 3-star weapons and artifacts only for example. Challenges like this force him to build new characters, whether they're in the meta or not. I think it might be what he needs for a refreshing experience.

Goal + deadline = W for Mtashed.
In genshin, the motivation for many players is saving for a new / upcoming character, in this case it was him trying to pull a C2 Raiden. Adding a timer made it more exciting.
Sadly, after deadline he will burnout even faster

This was me during the Nahida banner. I lost the first 50/50 but I grinded the f out desert, did all the quests and stuff. I didn't get her. But oh well, seeing mtashed having fun again just made me realise why I fell in love with his content in the first place it just feels really refreshing seeing that again.

yea this chase for C2 was literal me last month for Nihidas banner and sadly i did miss the 50/50 i wish you better luck Mtashed i hope you get your goal and set yourself a new one after words to keep you motivated to play this sometimes very frustrating game

F2P been saving about 50 wishes for Raiden hoping to win the 50/50 and grinding emblem for weeks. Summoned on New Years got her plus won on the weapon banner and got Engulfing Lightning. I'm happy.

Someone should tell him to turn in those Radiant Spincrystal things in his tea pot. You get Primos from the achievements page for turning in certain amounts of them.
Also, there's probably some easy primos locked away from other easy stuff in his tea pot, like placing furniture sets that characters like, hitting 20,000 Adeptal energy in a couple of Biomes etc (If you don't care about aesthetics you can just fill each area up with crap to get it done quickly).
Not exactly exhilarating content, I know, but when you're chasing every Primogem you can get, easy Primos are always good Primos! Besides, it beats doing those godawful hangout events over and over again at least!

There's a vase-like item you can buy from Tubby that you can place in your teapot, and you 'feed' those radiant spincrystals into it. The spincrystals basically act like CDs or records, and each one contains a piece of music that you can have playing inside your teapot

I know it’s not an exciting comp, but I’ve been doing a comfy team for quests and daily commissions. Ayato as DPS running Harbinger of Dawn with 4 piece Glad, Zhongli shield bot with 4 piece Tenacity, Raiden with just EM, and Kazuha with VV and EM stats. Kazuha is on crowd control and swirling/shredding defense, Zhongli is for shields and crowd control with his burst, Radien literally pops her Elemental Skill and then swaps out for Ayato to use his as well and hit the enemies in his TK stance. Moat things die there but some beefier enemies might take a second rotation.

I think the Aranyaka and Golden Slumber quest chains are, by far, the best in the game so far. It's a good sign.

had a similar grind for Wanderer. I 100%'d the entirey of Sumeru for that sussy boy, did boring quests, tons of stuff, just to not get it in the end.
i'm still motivated to grind primogems for months until he comes back, but boy, that's sad (atleast i'll guarantee c6 faruzan [hopefully])

Ive been doing Hyper Bloom Raiden, Nahida, Kokomi, with Tignari to clean out anything that still live after Raiden (usually nothing does) or to agro enemies with his E
I agree, i feel like its much more motivating and u feel much better when u get a character out of ur own gameplay rather than just buying it
The akitsu kimodameshi was legit a great event, with a fun mini game, a really cute and bittersweet story and great guest appearances (mostly Itto cause he rocks) and its a shame to see mtashed skip most of it cause hes just hunting down primogems like a starved wolf, which is really a shame.
Those scenes from his Windtrace runs are actually fun!
I was in the same condition as you on December 27 when i won the 50/50 and got a C1 Shogun. I had to win the odds again in 20 days and i was on 50 pity. Somehow scrapped 30 pulls in 2 weeks and got her C2 today on Jan 10.
TRUEE, i lost engulfing for herran and now im motivated to 100% sumeru from forest to dessert just to gett ayato. kinda funny how i find these as my fuel to 100% completion

I began playing this game once Raiden came out. Got Raiden early and wanted her weapon so bad. I grinded for 3 days and ended up farming around 100 pulls until I got her weapon. I did the majority of side quests and story to get the most primos. It was hell. I learned it’s better to save as much as possible to avoid this.
Man I’m not a fan of the usual mtashed (mad at the world) but him being so genuinely excited about anything makes me happy 😅
agreed, this is the mtashed that many of us came to watch before. i'm glad he's able to have fun again, for which games were meant to be-- having fun. :)

Combine limited playtime with daily logins and you get a purposefully designd conflict to make people crazy.

My daughter recently lost access to her acc, she wants to play but can’t bring herself to do all the quests again. So (in my head this seemed straightforward 🙈) I said I’d get her back to where she was (Archon quest wise). She added if it was ok to leave the pulls for her… ‘of course’ I said😅😬So I started do this again with only the characters you get for free. This was until I went to break my first crystal 😂 she allowed me one pull on the starter banner since your guaranteed a Noelle. Its actually been a lot of fun. Especially since I’ve only got 6 characters to think about building atm. I’ve gotten through the Mondstadt Archon quest no problem… I forgot how immersive the game is at the beginning.

I use the same team but my main DPS is normally zhongli as a physical build. Although I did get a good yanfei put together and it's insane cause it beefs up the damage in nahidas burst buff.

I honestly feel bad for him, considering I was in his situation for awhile trying to get c6 sara, had to use some masterless starglitter to do ten pulls, thankfully the shop had fischl and xiangling which I have c6 both, however for some reason after I got c6 sara I managed to also get c2 raiden, note that I won both 50/50 for her 2 constellations

I love Mtashed's honesty about a game but there's that fine line where it's criticism and bashing. Genshin is a good game that definitely needs some fine tuning. No game is perfect. That's why there's updates. He mentions he's burnt out, and we all definitely saw it. Many creators take time away from social media after posting so much online. Whether it's overworking or the community being toxic, everyone needs a break from work. CCs are no different from you and me. Since he can't take time away and breathe, he just needed a refresh at how he looked at the game. This is definitely helped him, and it shows.
I'm still working on em pieces and leveling up dragons bane but she is still doing 17-19k hyperblooms which for me is pretty good where I am investment wise so happy I got her guaranteed on her last rerun
I just started playing two days ago and I got two 5 stars from 3 pulls
I c1 Raiden and going to for c2 and I did it all because of Mtasted and It payed off because I won my first 50 50 because I have lost all of them before and now going to c2 and I got them very early I did 30 wishes and got Engulfing Lighting and A Raiden shogun
You might like the endgame on honkai. The battle challenges get pretty hard on lvl 81+.
I'm in the same boat as you man... On 25 pity with a 50/50 to win and grinding for primos anyway I can
the only sad thing is that exploration is not repetitive content, I enjoy exploration the most out of this game and once all the chests are opened, the area's like done for for the next 123456789 years that genshin continues going on for... appreciate if genshin brings back a similar event like enka's exploration event with no time gated exploration so that I can do it at my otot

The way I play windtrace is I just run from the hunter in plain sight and see if I can outrun em the whole time, it’s either 50/50 I win or lose it’s pretty fub

How much you enjoyed the new content is exactly why creating a new account is a great idea. It's all really good content, and creating a new account is like rewatching Star Wars. If you watch it all and then watch it again right away, it's just repetitive, but if you haven't seen it in a while you can come back and watch it and it's fresh again. You know what's going to happen, there's no surprises, but you still enjoy the hell out of it.
8:01 well i applied to a job to get money and i do feel satisfied after the whole mounth i worked for that c2 raiden and ayato that i whaled today and i did felt like i achived it cuz i put time into grinding this job that whole mounth and thats why im not agree with u maybe its different for u cuz ur job is literally play the game but for me its diffrent i really feels like i achieved that c2 raiden and ayato legit when i grinded McDonald's the whole mounth to get these 500$ (dw guys i spent like 100$ max not the whole shit im not an addict i am 16 tho so i dont have anything else to buy anyway)
After exploring the sumeru desert till 80%, completing the quest i got 9k primos in a week

You can do just as well with Kuki doing hyperbloom though, but have extra healing. Have you tried Raiden quicken though?
True that, if you have Kuki you might as well use Raiden for her raw damage and not hyperbloom. Btw hyper Raiden with a bunch of buffs is stronger than aggravate Raiden
