Crowning the skill isn't really worth it because it stops giving additional burst dmg at lv9.
@@johnpettigrew9420 i crowned anyway and didn't really regret it. Use Raiden A LOT and is a good upgrade ir her E dmg (that is not as useless as people like to say).
I would recommend if you don't have many crowns, but if you have a lot of crowns getting dust why not? It's more worth it using your resin for this than farming artifacts
@@adv78 it’s not worth 700k mora and 16 talent books, not to mention the 5* mats, upgrading it isn’t useless, it’s just not worth it unless you have no characters to work on
@@thecrazyremy i always prioritize talents over artifacts. Even the high Mora consumption is true, but still Mora will go fast leveling up artifacts just do they upgrade the only worthless substat 2 or 3 times in a roll.
Yeah it's not the the best crown ever. But i have crowned Bennet, triple crowned Kazuhas, crowned Xingqiu, double crowned HuTao, Crowned Xiangling... Wtf am I going to use crowns for (and yes, I am saving 3 for future characters)
The game just gives A LOT of crowns actually pretty fast if you aren't a new player there is no shortage of them. And the other items do use a lot of resin but at this point in the game, it is still a lot less resin than farming for a mildly better artifact
Been having a lot of fun with Raiden, even at c0 she feels really strong, sadly gotta skip Ayato for Kazuha, but after I get my boy Kazuha I'm saving for the dendro archon. Your F2P God is looking really nice, especially with your new Raiden.
I’m really torn because I’ve been saving for Kazuha. I use a childe xiangling team so he’s the last unit I need there. However, Raiden is looking more and more desirable for my account and I do like Ayato, but I’d have to skip them both to get Kazuha since I have a guarantee. Thing with Raiden is that she’s top tier but idk where I’d put her in my team, since both of my main teams are already very planned out and I don’t technically NEED her. Not to mention I have basically no materials prepared for her, while I do have stuff for Kazuha ready. I guess I’ll just wait until the 2.6 banners are announced. If Kazuha isn’t coming for a while, I’ll just get her, maybe

@@PJelJr Jean increases your movement and attack speed. It's not locked behind normal, charged atk speed. Just pure attack speed, aka Raiden's burst attacks are incl. as well
Omg what. I got my C2 Jean on Zhongli latest banner. I didn't know it was that good. I guess I should really invest in her now. She's already lvl 80 with high talents but I didn't really have good artifacts. What is the best set for her? And I thought I'd put her on my Xiao team because I heard she generates particles quickly, is that correct?
@@marzipan24 Jean is versatile. But if you got a strong main dps, you should make Jean support with Viri set imo.
Raiden's the first character i literally crowned and holy moly despite having teams with terrible artifacts, she manage to hit 170k dmg with R5 the catch and that's insane and she's just C0, imagine if she was C3

Yep, getting Jean on that lost 50/50 is a blessing, I already have her C2 and are definitely pairing her with Ayato. It's a done deal.
Getting more C on Diluc is way less influential.

Everytime I'm on 50/50 I PRAY for a Jean. I NEED HER C2 oh my god. I've already had C1 Qiqi and C2 Keqing it's so fucked up

Wavebreaker's fin is really good for Xiangling since Raiden National has high energy
Good weap if you need to use Homa for Zhongli
Fin is better than Catch on Raiden if you have more than R2 aswell.
R5 in terms of damage is on the same level as Homa R1

Wave breaker is the strongest burst dmg spear, but it doesn’t have the er and crit that the catch has, that’s why the catch is better, if you’re doing a nuke showcase, then you can use wavebreaker, or if you have the catch on someone else already
@@thecrazyremy I know that the catch has its advantages, especially since the character is easier to build.
However, Wavebreaker's passive is much stronger.
If it has more refinements than R1 or 2 it should always be preferred to catch.
Catch r5 buffs Ult DMG to 32% and Ult crit rate 12%
Wavebreaker r5 buffs Ult DMG up to 80% based on team energy required
The other benefit is you can use the Catch on Xiangling and Wavebreaker on Raiden.
Homa and Engulfing are still harder to get than Wavebreaker.
Homa is better on HuTao or Zhongli

Pulled her yesterday as a relatively new player, 2 months in.
First 6* ascended character, first lv 9 Talent (crown as soon as i get the books and mora), R5 the catch, 55% cr 155% cd 230 er, gave her my best artifacts.
I planned on pulling her for a while and i invested as much as i could on her, and DAMN she's popping off, carrying me in floor 10 of Spyral Abyss with lv 60 no talents no artifact teammates (and before you come at me, i never even did Spyral and im blasting thru floor 10 with Raiden, Bennett and 2 literally uninvested supports).
I am so satysfied with Raiden :3

Raiden satisfaction rate is really high indeed. Congrats for the Raiden!
So for raiden her dmg starts to pop of at lv 60+ i would suggest to change your gear from attack % gob to electro dmg and then use attack sands. This is because when you reach lv 90 you will already have around 200 er ( 20% emblem set, 32% accession and 45.9% from catch) then additional er you can take from subs. Rest you can focus on dmg rolls. Since you will be using the catch i would suggest more focus on crit dmg that crit rate. This i can say from my experience so far from playing her.
Attack % or electro goblet is interchangeable (based on your ER), her passive overloads her electro bonus with higher ER.
I mean er sand atk gob and atk sands electro gob are very similar so good with the one with better subs
@@smeat2000 this is only true in the beginning. But when at higer ar you would want her to do more dmg. So you will prefer and electro dmg gob and attack% sands.
Because you need not more than 250 er and you can already get around 200 er as i mentioned before. This way you can focus on crit subs.
Speaking as a NG main, yes. Build her. Everyone goes on about the Wolflord being tough, but I've never had that experience. She's so much fun. I do use the Solar Pearl tho, which is not an option for you, but I'm sure you've got something good to give her.
Widsith... Even if she can't utilize the EM buff, the crit damage from main stat and the attack buff makes her a beast.
I have a full geo team and she's the healer. Honestly, with a Prototype Amber, 2 set Archaic, 2 set Maiden and a healing hatpiece she's really good, since i don't need much healing on Arataki and Albedo (skyrocket defense) with Zhongli's shield

@@mamsiesiesie2746 Can't quite remember sands, i think HP, also a Geo goblet for ult DMG, and the only energy regen i use is from substats, since i generate a good amount of geo particles from all the team

Well that is the nature of the Genshin community. Doompost on the new characters before release, then trash the new unit a day after they've come out, and after extensive testing realise they're actually god tier units

@@demestriu529 ofc. Almost every claymore char scales with Atk but most of the catalyst chars don't with Hp and even if u say that they do, they're Healers and ain't gonna do anything with that passive
then theres me who wanted the donut and actually got it for kokomi (yes ik it kinda sucks on her as a support but still its pretty)
Tbf there's the electro buff, shes in a bennett burst and the riff hounds have reduced electro RES. And the amount of base att she gets from lvl 39-90 is 200. Raiden's total Att at lvl 39 in a Bennett burst is probably higher than a lvl 90 Raiden without Bennett given that you usually use ER sands and Electro goblet.

Another thing to think about when trying to get a good ratio of crt dmg and er is that they give the same amount of value hen uing her burst for damage so, if you lose 20 crt dmg but gain 20 er you will do the same amount of damage with her burst you will only see a huge difference if you get 300% er for her.

@@rusu3 yes, but note atk% can out scale ER when running Electro goblet & ER sands. I'd still prioritize ER over atk% because the tiny benefit in dmg does not justify losing the other benefits of ER. Also flat Atk buffers like Bennet and Sara greatly diminish the value of atk%.
Don't double Crown raiden not worth it her e is already amazing in lv 9 no more needed burst is the only crown u need.
Moreover u got C6 sara so use sac bow on her nd use the hyper carry raiden team with Bennet kazuha nd sara (C6 provides 60 crit DMG) so numbers will fly even with ur unlevelled raiden

tbh, eula raiden is a lot weaker than a team that centers around raiden only

@@kventinho if you look at sheets, raiden eula has a pretty long rot time. 26 sec. Eula does most of the damage ofc, but how about raiden's damage? She doesn't benifit as much in this comp, she is simply just a batter for eula here which rly lowers raiden's dps potential. With this in mind, KQM cacl show that raiden eula barely reach the 40k dps threshold while other raidne teams like raifish ( raiden, fish, kaz, bennet ) have about 54k to 60k dps, same goes for raikou ( raide, fish, kaz, bennet), but the dps is a little lower than raifish with a dps of about 53k-58k, why? casue yae takes too much field time which will reduce the buff uptime while raiden is in her burst form, also raifish has a rot of 18 sec while raikou has a rot time of 22 sec. I'm getting a bit off-topic, but a key component of dps is the rot time. Raiden eula have a rot time of 26 sec at best. Dps is caculated by overall dps / rot time. Raiden eula is probably one of the weakes raiden team but the best team for eula. Cacl are provided in WFP discord. Also pretty sure theory crafters who talked about raiden adressed it, ten ten was in there I think but tbh, he's the least reliable person to ask about raiden considering the fact he said that national is the only team that works with raiden which was proven wrong and pretty sure he cleared that up but still very unreliable considering he called her one of the top dps units then giving her a 3.5/5. The only time raiden eula can reach top tier dps is prob with constellations but if your raiden has constellations, better to just run her in a hyper team and eula with fish
@@iamthesenate8825 TLDR: You do more damage per rotation, but rotation itself is longer, so there's no actual increase in dps.
@@DarkKnight-mo1yl u missed that double carries fight for buffs therefore also decrease if dps overall like raiden Eula where supports are strictly supporting Eula and raiden doesn’t get that much buffs. Also DPR doesn’t matter if you take a long time executing the rot. That’s about it

I've always said she's a main DPS. She's supporting other characters so they can support her as well.
@@drogadepc She is a Burst DPS, outside of that 7 seconds she attacks like a pasta noodle and you need things to fill in the downtime.
@@thegamingenderman True but that's why national team is so good since xiangling also insane in terms or dmg and pretty good uptime and with raiden that uptime is even easier to manage
@@thegamingenderman Her uptime is about 50% because of hitlag extension and Q animation, giving u total of 10-12s per 20-22s rotation. Pretty normal for hypercarry, and condensed dmg is one reason she has such a high DPS.
@@thegamingenderman 7 seconds is enough (and in reality it's more like 10-11 seconds). Having too much uptime is actually a bad thing since you need to go through your supports anyways. Characters like Hu Tao and Ayaka are also very strong mostly because they have similarly low uptime meaning their damage is super condensed.

ive been using jean C2 with yoimia since i got them, and i cant for the life of me ever play without jean now cause the atk speed just feels so good and smooth to play with, would definitely recommend her to anyone who has C2 or even C0 just because of the amount of utility she has as a anemo healer.
I’m guaranteed shogun (about 64 wishes in) assuming I get enough primos before this banner ends. Lost my 50/50 on zhongli and got diluc c1. Overall, I have the worst luck on pulls. I feel like the game knows I’m f2p and they try me every single time.

I waited for Raidens so i could build pity and try pulling for C6 Sarah's (she was c4) while avoiding Raiden herself because I already had one. Got a Raiden (early, 18° pull since Mona), a lot of weapons, xyian, one Bennet and zero of the Sarah's i wanted.

I just C6'd Bennett a few weeks ago, and I have to say, I loooove the new options it gives for what it takes away. I know it's poisonous to say so, but C6 Bennett be fun as funk.
yeah my 2 main dps are catalyst users so its not a loss plus it removes the ! from the character menu which bothered me greatly

I agreed, it helped my diluc and Xiangling, plus the other dps that I use are not affected at all, they're shogun main carry, itto and xiao
@@koringavp3669 Oh, yeah, it helps a ton when my Itto's ult is down. Pretty much doubles my normal attack damage. If you think Itto has limited builds, try pyro or cryo Itto for a great time...lol.

raiden hits like a truck even without bennett around 50-80k burst, with bennett she deals minimum at least 100k with decently built artifacts, not even god tier, i can deal at most 165k with c0 raiden max resolve, you definitely will not regret pulling for her

I actually just did a test on floor 12 abyss earlier with raiden national, and i got 190k on her burst, provided that the first abyss buff card i got was elem burst +20%, still pretty nutty for a c0 raiden
i've started to pull for her from 15 days ago and today is the day the banner is almost up and im so glad i got her on the last day, i was like crying coz of the relief
when i didnt had her my damage was so slow but when i got her i can't even see anything on my screen. meaning that she is extremely good i truly recommend you pulling on her.
Have her at c1 before and been doing 200k dmg. Finally got her to c2 this time and my dmg is up to 400k. So happy with her. Ill be a long timw before i start wishing again though.

Bennett c6 would be one of his best ones if it was togleable especially for people that use diluc but also like using someone like eula
Give it a few months and once we have a buffer for every element like Sara, Shenhe and Gorou etc, Bennett will only be the best at supporting pyro with c6, then everyone will finally c6 their bennett

Remove Benny and you'll see a world of difference. I thought of him as just "good" early on but, boy was I wrong. Absolutely hate his character design and thought he is boring as sh- but, I can't possibly deny that he's the unknown god in disguise.

I hate him too. But I use him as well. For second team. I hope we get more Sara-like special buffers. Shenhe is decent for cryo, but her kit feels just bad sadly. It’s because the quils run out so quickly for the main dps. I want to fully replace bennet someday.

Guys, Raiden is great, but a lot of TH-camrs are misleading people into thinking Raiden's personal damage at C0 is awesome, which it's not, unless she's heavily buffed by OP supports like Kazuha, Bennett, and C6 Sara. My Eula, with no buffs, does about 140K ult. If I buff her with Bennett and Zhongli, I could probably reach 250K easy. A Raiden Hypercarry can do about as well, but keep in mind that Eula has never been considered to be an S-tier unit.
Raiden is great, but at C0, her personal damage isn't what's great about her. TH-camrs are really messing with people's perception of Raiden, and it's honestly very bad for the community.
Raiden by herself at C0 does decent damage, but less than most 5* DPS. With hypercarry team buffing her (and only her), she does about as well as high A tier DPSs like Xiao and Eula. In National team, the team does slightly better than most Xiao and Eula comps, but requires high investment on both Xiangling and Xingqiu. Her personal damage is also much lower, but she aids the team's ER and burst damage. This will basically be the team she's married to until you get C2 (which I just got and it's great).
At C2, she surpasses most 5* DPSs at C0, though still outdone by well-invested Ayaka and Ganyu comps.
So all this said, please don't let TH-camrs fool you into thinking that Raiden is god-tier at C0. She's not. She's still outclassed in value by Kazuha, Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Ayaka, and Ganyu, who are the only ones who deserve the S-tier category (Ayaka could be considered less valuable in the sense that she can only be a DPS and has no support value, but she's still the best damage-dealer in the game).
Raiden, in terms of overall value (not necessarily personal damage potential), is closer to Xiao, HuTao, Itto, and Eula. She is also not nearly as versatile as so many people seem to think she is. You can technically fit her in any team, but there's almost always going to be a better alternative (most times, 4* alternatives). Even in Eula comps, the tried-and-tested best team for high DPS ceiling is Fischl/Beidou/Diona. Raiden makes the rotation easier, but it's not a definitive upgrade.
Hoyoverse: hmmm.... Let's put the donut again on raiden's next year's rerun featuring kokomi visiting raiden's plane of euthemia. Year after that, let's put another donut on raiden's rerun since raiden loves sweets.

I had Raiden already so decided to try and pull for C1 and C2 to turn her as one of my main dps. Luck was not on my side lol. Got a Qiqi, but got C1 Raiden. No more primos tho so just pulling 1 wish at a time now till the banner goes and hoping I get lucky lmao

Man this banner has overwhelmed me. Started in January, lvl 51, just got xiangling and ganyu to 90 and capped her talent. No exp books left, no ascension materials for Bennett, no more for Bennett or raiden. Soooo many thing I need to do and no resin to do it
Mr. Tashed you can use Lion's Roar or Jade cutter for Xingqiu when running Raiden National. The sac sword isn't necessary for him anymore because Raiden can provide enough energy for Xingqiu at 180 ER minimum. On top of that, it'll give you more off-field dmg

yep thats the cool thing about raising her. I had a cryo dps so I delegated her to support for a while. It amazes me that she is a top 3-4 in terms of stat scaling among 5 stars so even tho she was underleveled then she didnt feel leftout

I got Raiden in her first banner, and in this rerun i used 20 wishes on kokomi's banner trying to get Sara c6 (i had her c4), i said "I only have 20 wishes, it's not like i'm gonna get a 5* so it doesn't matter if i wish on raiden's or in kokomi's banner", then i got kokomi xD
I love her design, her animations, and i needed another off field hydro aplicator, and now i'm gonna build her but it sure was a great surprise getting her at 30 pity xD
