Diluc is one of my favorite characters since 1.0 and he will forever be one of favorites. I LOVE HIS PLAYSTYLE! Bless all Diluc Fans!!
Kazuha and Yoimiya would always be my favorite pair, whether it be in creating a team to use or just simply liking them as in lore-wise and character-wise.
You can probably say they're my comfort pair of characters to calm me down whenever I'm stressed out as well, and not to mention I learned quite a few new things from them (like Kazuha's habit of whisking up a haiku out of nowhere lol).
Edit: I did not lie when I say I squealed in happiness like a mad lad when I saw them both got into top 3 most popular, and belonged to the group with the least votes when talking least-favorite-character-wise. I did not expect that voting result, holy sh*t 🤣

I wonder if that's just a harbinger issue, a fatui issue, or a male harbinger/fatui issue. Like if this ran again, would the hearth trio get the same sort of treatment, would Lynette or the Knave be treated differently, would a character who's shown no real criminal stuff on screen like Freminet do better than all the criminal behaving playable fatui? So intriguing
I feel like Genshins chacrters are really different in each of there ways, so everyone has a different favorite or favorites, it's a good chance to meet like minded players when you both share a favorite

it makes sense why Diluc get that high in that category tho. 5* standard characters can get a lot hate from keep getting them when losing 50/50 or when you expect to get something else from standard banner.

to be fair actual good Characters on standard are Tighnari,Mona,Jean and maybe Keqing it really sucks if you didn’t get them and get a C6 QiQi

I mean it matches his storyline, I guess. He's been put through a lot of tragic stuff and has done some pretty reprehensible things in turn so it's just a matter of what people want to focus on. I just don't really like his vibes.

This ranking would be SO different now. Some Sumeru characters would be higher for sure. I’d love to see this after we’ve had the release of more Fontaine characters.
I'm not so sure. The video was made around 3.5. The story was settled, the dendro meta was at its peak. We only got 3 sort of middle-of-the-pack characters in the meantime, so I don't see what would've changed so dramatically.

I personally don't get what people like so much about Itto. His story quest was great, but after that they reduced him to a wimpy idiot who gets scolded by everyone and causes meaningless trouble.

I understand well how you feel when seeing Diluc doesn't get the love he deserves, as my favourite character in the game is Venti who is always voted as the least liked archon or even their least liked character overall. I recently saw someone who I've been following hate on him too, which kinda hurt, even if they are of course entitled to their own opinions haha. It still sucks to see when it happens.
It just shows how amazing and diverse Genshin's character pool is, so many people have totally different opninions and favourites.
At least venti has the privilege of being loved by some of the best NSFW artists out there. We Diluc mains don't even have that.
My fav character doesn't get enough love either. But honestly, we all have different opinions and as long as you have fun and enjoy your character, it doesn't matter what other people think.
I started the game mostly because of Venti and he's been my favourite character ever since and he's PERMANENTLY staying my favourite. It hurts to see people push him aside often, especially in those favourite archon polls. Idk why people don't pay attention to Venti that much. Hopefully that'll change when he actually gets a second story quest and players finally open their eyes to what a wonderful character he is.
Personally, I think Venti is the best archon in terms of how they rule their nation. People joke about him being a drunkard and ignore his nation but I think he can do whatever he wanted because he already help give the people what they want, freedom. Mondstadt also have great leader like Jean. They are independent. And when Dvalin was putting Mondstadt in danger, he also play the big role in helping. Truly the best archon.
The people who said Venti is the worse Archon is a lore/dialogue skipper anyway. He actually the only Archon who doesn't need Traveler help in the first place (but we interupted Dvalin healing session at Whispering woods) the one who give guidance to cure Dvalin and the buff us to defeat Dvalin twice (1st one is attack helicopter at sky, 2nd final battle) HOW IS THAT USELESS?!

I really thought more people came around to Xinyan after her part in the previous summer event
Xinyan is not even that bad, just takes a little more love than people are willing to give. Mine still has a long way to go but she reaches 30k ult without physical boosts, and 15k skill without pyro boosts.
Her part in that event wasn’t really all that great yes her backstory was sad but after that nothing else really made her likable or make people second guess
I thought she is just like Amber case. Personality wise, wholesome character but gameplay wise hard to play
I wouldn’t say she’s hard to play, just takes a bit of investment. I run her on Bolide and using The Unforged weapon. Shields pretty well and hits pretty hard.
@@matrixster6238I've been working on my xinyan since I got her because she's my favorite female character in the game,her highest was 80k on ult and 14k on regular attack(keep in mind that my crit rate isn't high at all)
I usually do about 50k on ult and 12k on regular hit, still trying to better her build when I can
I'm aware that she's not great but I still use her because I genuinely like the character,I do have my 5stars as well
barbara slander is just so stupid, tell me whats wrong with her.... she is your beginning healer, she is sweet and kind.. she dosent simp over the traveller and she has not hurt anyone once or has done anything to be so hated, i may be a barbara stan but its just makes me upset to see her so high in the least faverouite category :(

@xiop336 I never said she's useless on terms of healing.. there are better healers out there. It's just people in the fandom treat her personality like shit, alot find her very boring and make fun of her for following the archon.
Also I use her for vaperorise reactions and she doesn't do that bad... she just isn't a good healer lol. Also bloom teams really make her useful too but I rarely play it so I wouldn't be able to tell

Nah, it wouldn't be THAT different now. Nahida being the most broken character in the game doesn't mean she is the most likeable character in the game (huge% down just for her model type), the same as XL being one of the lowest in list despite her "meta" value (who likes playing XL and not just chained to her anyway)
her model is really cute though and i’ve seen some Unbiased takes in the List and Nahida isn’t one of them she can easily be a little underrated but fine if you don’t like her that much

I’m not surprised that the most morally dubious characters are divisive enough to be ranked high in both lists (as they’re kinda meant to be). Personally, morally grey characters are just a lot more fun and interesting to me, so Childe and Wanderer are among my top faves ✨

You gotta remember that this video isnt based on meta its based on peoples personal lfeelings about characters. While im sure meta has some influence its mainly just "i like this character because their design is cool" or "I hate their personality" type of stuff.
So there will be favorites or least favorites that won't make sense based on meta
Characters like Raiden, Ayaka, etc. tend to be the most popular; the more popular and likes a character get, the more hate they will receive at the same time, that's why we can see them on top of both the most favorite list and the least favorite list. That's just how game characters works.

i think the reason why people hate both of them is because Of the people who ship Yae miko and Ei together and doesn’t seem like a good reason because it’s about the Character not the fans

@@林宥霆Definitely. Personally I’m on the dislike group right now. So far she seems like an annoying spoiled brat. But I know so many people who love her exactly for being such. Overall it’s good to have characters that divide opinions instead of boring white bread everyone is ok with.
And who knows. Fontaine is still in its early days. Maybe when we get to know Furina more I’ll warm up to her.
I swear, Venti deserves way more love than what he's currently getting. More people need to realise he's an amazing character, rather than reducing him to a lazy drunk. I'm glad Bran appreciates Venti and his lore.

dori was done really dirty by hoyoverse. i use her on a friendship team as a healer and she barely ever has her burst and when she does it barely heals. i even built her properly 😭
what? my dori gets her burst pretty quickly and heals 5k per tick and I just gave her some okay artifacts I had in my inventory, didn't even grind for her 🤨
are you sure you built her properly ? Because mine has her burst quickly and she does between 10k to 15k per ticks of heals '-'

There were only two votes, one for most and one for least favourite. The part about standard character was only statistics pulled from the voting result.

Diluc ruined my Yelan pity just now and he's still my favorite from the standard 5 (6 (7)).
Also the Dori dislike is actually incomprehensible to me. I don't love her or anything, but why do people care that much.
As a Qiqi main and enthusiast, it kinda makes me sad that she gets hate because people lose 50/50 on her. I understand the sentiment and the fact that she isn't a powerful unit like other characters, but TBH, she doesn't really deserve that much hate. Just like any other character, once you know how to build a team comp around her, it's actually fun and really cool to try out.
It's really sad when you like a character everyone hates for having bad luck, since you practically don't see a lot of people with the same interest as you. Same goes for all the other standard banner 5-star units, but Qiqi is widely known for being the most hated 5-star unit and being considered the worst 5-star unit as well, which is ridiculous, in my opinion. Every character has their charm, and the point of the game is to play with the characters you like.
In any case, I wish Qiqi wasn't this hated for this reason, but alas, she seems to be widely known for that now.

Every morning is mora, every evening is mora, every meal and walk and breath you take alongside her is freaking mora. And I LIKE money. It's worse than talking to Anna from Fire Emblem, because yes she's obsessed with money but at least the writers make it fun or endearing, while here it's clear that Dori is using money as a way to cope with a traumatic past where (spoilers) her older sister died because they didn't have money to buy medicine, but damn it I'm not a therapist.

Really don't understand the immense hate for Dori. I mean yeah, her kit is trash, but her character is atleast fun. Everyone I've watched has liked her in the story, despite her being brief. People actively hate Xinyan's kit AND character, yet she had less than half of Dori's votes. Like bruh, it don't make no gosh darn sense to me. People really just like to jump on hate bandwagons for characters.
Dori's kit is pretty bad yeah, but a lot of people actually hate her as a character and I'm one of them, she's just a horrible person

i think one think a lot of people forget is that fav. character doesnt have to mean ur main or good character. i mean i main yoimiya and she is my number one but close 2nd is ganyu and i dont even have her. I love both because of their personalitys in the story and i guess A LOT of people think the same way.

It's more so many find her gameplay, while very strong, very boring.

Sad i didn't get to vote on this list, but anyways, Keqing is pretty high up there on the favoirtes category so i'm glad. Being a standard 5* which that alone already makes u significantly weaker and more hated than limited characters, i say ranking 18 is pretty pog ngl.

I’d assume she would show up in a lot of people’s top 5 or top 10 if you had to rate everyone in the game, but I understand that she wouldn’t manage to snag the no1 favorite spot for most, she doesn’t get a lot of screen/play time. If she was actually part of the Inazuma archon quest she would probably be liked a lot more

I think the reason why Aether has become both the less favourite but also the highest least character is because of the saturation of the “Aether Harem” which, would agree to hate, as it really stains his character. And that also I think that this polls have also the influenced by people who also enjoy fan-works, it happens so much in Touhou, like the last year’s popularity poll Flandre Scarlet won first place thanks to returning in 17.5 and Internet Survivor music video.

A comfort space for Diluc lovers out there. You know you’ve made it if you have a considerable amount of haters. I’ve heard all the BS reasons people hate him so it’s just funny at this point. It’s really hard for me to hate any characters in Genshin cause they’re all created so well in my POV. Not even Dori, she has fun game play. The only one that took some warming up was Kokomi but she’s one of my fav now.
