- It's another check day on the 2022 northern Maine marten and fisher trap line. We get a good haul of marten and a couple nice fishers, and end up running short on time and really pushing to take advantage of the little bit of daylight left! It's alright though, that's what head lamps are for. Enjoy!

A great day on the line, looks a lot like me in Gaspe, Quebec. Things are moving up here, lot of movement on those martens and fishers. Keep working hard and bring us with you on the line!
Right on, thanks!
As long as you’re having fun and enjoying what you’re doing, nice catches.
Thanks
That’s a great day catching fur. Congrats.
Thanks Tom
Great work out there! Keep it rolling
Thanks DP!
Enjoyed your video I'm also from Maine down east.
Enjoying your videos, keep up the good work!
Thanks Cooner!
Wow you up there got snow! You not all that far away from me. Us here 40s and 50s! Northern VT on the western side! I don't think there is any snow in VT except the mountains, maybe? I don't even think that there is any on the eastern side this year...
Yeah we did get a week of warm weather after I filmed that. Lst a lot of the snow but we still have some in the woods. I'm quite a bit north of Northern Vermont
I missed the show again tonight was at the deer stand and came home watched the video about an hour late But enjoyed it.
Thanks
Nice wet snow day hope for a good catch today
Saya suka dengan petualang seperti ini👍
Good one
Nice Fisher!
What a great day!! How many Fishers can you get a year? They are such awesome animals
Thanks Pete. The fisher limit used to be 10. Now it is 25.
How come you don't have your little trapper with you??? LOL 👍🏻👍🏻😊😊
Kids got school! And it's a tough line for them to run and keep up with me. Sometimes a 14 hour day.
You have to use these boxes to keep lynx out so how many lynx tracks do you see around your sets ?
Just 1 set of lynx tracks where I trapped this year.
I always liked when u could set the old way and have the hanging from a tree nothing better looking good job man
For sure. Thanks!
What brand do you run for your 120s?
A mix of bridgers and dukes
@@trappingtoday Cool. Here in Canada we have to use certifed traps. Duke and bridgers aren't on the list for either marten or fisher sadly
Why do you got that orange stuff on the opening of your boxes?
You mean the red wire mesh? That's to restrict the opening to 4 inches diameter. It is legally required so we don't catch lynx.
@@trappingtoday ok I figured something probably helps keep raccoon out too
Yeah that fuel bill is brutal
For sure. Makes you make some hard decisions
Are you from Maine?
Yes
where in northern maine are you
