Problem I see is when e-stop is pressed it coasts to a stop rather then braking. I had to run wire from e-stop to a relay as part of 3 wire setup. It doesn’t turn off VFD but does spindle.

Thanks. Safety is an area that I need to get a more in depth knowledge of. Especially when it comes to how to do a proper risk assessment.

Hello, how should the safety system design be with STO input drivers in the AGV system? How should STO be used in safety laser and emergency stop processes.
    Thank you.

Hi there, what parameter settings did you have to change for auto reset on the drive after you reset the estop? Normally you have push the stop/reset button to reset the fault code.

      Think it is T105.

@@TimWilborne Thank you. This does actually disables the Safety interlock. I hope to see an auto reset from Allen Bradley. I still need to know if someone hits the e-stop accidentally.

It is somewhere in the T parameters. I know several of our trainers are set up the way you want.
