This Horizon had the most scenic map/roads. It’ll still be fun to play offline as well.
I had so many fond memories of this game. The amount of time I've spent on the airport alone is unimaginable.
To me, the one with the best Single player is FH1, and the one with the best multiplayer is FH2 hands down.

9 years ago when i was 10 I remember watching gameplays of Horizon 2 on TH-cam and it was mindblowing to me how good and realistic this game felt. Personally I think this game still looks and feels better than any other Horizon.
Same brother, I remember staying up till midnight hiding TH-cam under my bed when my mum checked on me
Forza horizon 2 was a big chunk of nostalgia for me but now that it’s going, it just breaks my heart. 😔💔
Forza Horizon 2 is my personal favorite game in the franchise and I still play it to this day. I’ve never played Forza Horizon 1, but I hope I get to play it one day.

What a game! I had so many fond memories of this game and I can still remember cruising along the coast in the Lamborghini Huracan with some friend, doing drag races with friends etc and I loved the road trip feature as well
Horizon 2 has a special place in my heart. Yes i started with the first game in the series and it was amazing, but Horizon 2 was a place i already visited on holidays (southern France and especially Italy). To go back and seeing the streets, that felt so realistic like i have been there. Driving every road and exploring where it lead (as there where no roads, that where only there for a round racing like we have some in FH5, every road felt like it had a reason to exist in the world). Amazing. Just an incredible part of my childhood.
As a PC user FH2 was always offline for me, although I wish to try it out myself
Currently play fh1 online wish I could play fh2 online but in the uk server have been turned off
Anything that involves the storefront shut down. When it can’t connect, you can’t access the dlc cars or the anniversary cars. meaning that the dlc cars are NOT drivable.
That Fast and Furious game was the first time I played Horizon, this brought up so many memories of my Xbox 360.
Forza horizon 2 & 3 are extremely special to me
For me the FH3 felt souless after FH2
FH2 is what started it all for me I played motorsport prior but this was my first horizon. I even remember exactly where I was when I saw the trailer.
So many fantastic memories, late nights with friends, car challenges.
This game will always be one of my favorites

I have never played H2 but isn’t that road trip feature pretty much what the Horizon Tour is? You have three races and drive from venue to venue with your competitors.
Yes but in FH2 it actually has purpose atleast in online. As the position in online roadtrip was decided with the total xp.
So you got xp from race position and able to make it to next race starting point between races.
In FH2 it wasn't about how fast you can drive but rather how you drive. You could drift every race if you wanted to and finish last in the race but in the end win the championship 'cause you made more xp from drifting than what the race winner got from finishing first.
This same method was used in FH3 but after that it was dropped and you needed to finish in high positions to gain more points to be able to fight for the championship.
They really should make the FH5 Horizon tour xp based rather than points based as there is already points based series. So win win

I’ll forever remember this game cuz it’s what got me into forza horizon. I played the free fnf dlc and fell in love with all the cars. I used to drift the docks in the p1 and Supra like no tmr😭 rip horizon 2 fr such a game changer truly felt next gen.
Eric, I have always loved FH2. I still don't have an Xbox One or Series S/X but I have that game in my 360 and it's just the best game on the console. There are so many memories with this game like buying my first supercar which was the R8 in matte blue and then using the gltch in the game to gain unlimited money by fast Travelling, making different builds like Lotus Evora with Twin Turbo Kit and sports exhaust in British green color, building the Daily Driven Exotics tireslyer Huracan and many more.
Developers seriously need to bring back some features from this game to their new game like the championships, collaborating with like Gumball 3000 or any Movie franchise.

You have got road trips in fh5, but it's called horizon tour and it's multiplayer, you can sometimes find it in festival playlist

@@kimreinikainen Was also in FH3 too. You got XP based on 1 position, 2 skills, 3 clean racing - which meant that just because you sped ahead and won doesn't mean you actually won. You might have 30,000XP from winning and having skills with it, but someone else can come 5th and get 35,000XP instead and actually win.

I like this game pretty much. And at the beginning when it shows the guy talking about the festivals. I actually found out that Hes a movie star, and he was on a TV show called once upon a time. And they did his face pretty good to match what he looks like in real life. Also,it would be nice if they could have given at least some people? The chance to buy certain cars like the Fast & Furious. For those who may not have been able to after they purchased the game and that part was already cut off.
pretty heartbreaking news...still my favorite games in the series by far. there may be more customization in newer games, but i just can't get over how good the car selection was in both games, especially with the dlc's. they were amazing

It sure has been a long ride. In Horizon 1 I got before I entered 4th Grade and spent a lot of time grinding the base game an in multiplayer. Horizon 2 was pretty much 1/2 way completed in 6th grade, but I got the 360 version so I sort of got a good feeling on what the main version would feel and I did got the Fast and Furious version. In AR12’s video on this, there’s 2 mod groups that focus on reviving old multiplayer games on 360 and another adding more content to Horizon 1 so I wonder if there’s a chance the 360 version of Horizon 2 might get a patch and bring in the DLC that the main game had. So it lies in their hands.
THEY NEED TO MAKE A REMAKE of Italy x France for FH6, im pretty sure it would be bonkers
I loved FH2. Pity that I started to play it too late when FH3 was already released from years and I never had the chance to get all the DLC to complete the game. It was my favorite in many ways more than FH3.

Wow I have all the DLC cars packs installed but can't buy them from the shop as it says can't connect to market place that's so damn cheeky
Also fun fact FH3's PC Servers are offline but the Xbox ones aren't (I thought they were the same but apparently not) - I played FH2 in 2018 and this year and I couldn't ever connect to any online anything.

i really wish FH1, 2 and 3 were on xbox store including DLCs.
FH2 servers (multiplayer) don’t work at all as there is no match making.
However, the fh1 storefronts are down and the fh2 are up.
The only dlc that's unplayable now is the 1000 club for FH1 as for some reason that requires a server connection to play so now that's permanently inaccessible which is a shame even if you own any have it installed you can't access it

This is sad day and people like me who can now only play the Xbox Series S (cause my OG Xbox one is dead) it means that unless I game share with either a family member or a very trusted friend I will never be able to play this great game 🫡🥺

Well I can say for 💯 positivity that it's now offline as of 12 noon CST Wednesday August 23,2023.
Thank God for playing Forza and fora loyalty rewards, and the Forza hub app since I have played them since the 1st one back on the OG Xbox though.
Every time I logged into a old title I had millions in free credits waiting.
Had 32 million when I finally got around to getting fh2 for the Xbox 1 lol!
That will come in handy now lol!

Yes it is possible however buying a key will probably be expensive. If you can try and buy a cheaper physical copy.
@@JD-fg2dz Thanks mate, currently I'm stuck with Series S (got it new ridiculously cheap) and planning to build a PC that will run mostly Linux, so a digital key is a more suitable option. Eventually I will start to collect the CD's too, Yeah a physical copy it's just nicer
For me FH2 was the best !!!! The scenario, the roads the cars and the best collaboration of all with fast and furious
i like FH1 more tbh but its still sad that better forza titles are dying and worst in the series still gets supported

If you ask me the best Horizon game is that which you revisit most often and for me that is Horizon 2.
I haven't had a single time where i was like hmmmm...today would be nice day to play Horizon 4. For me it is always FH2 just because of the map.
I am gonna miss this game so much. This was one of the very few games that I have truly enjoyed playing online and offline. I bought this game when I was 15 and I also made a few car guys friends online as well. Lots of memories with the game🫡😢
