Judging from the tester, it feels like the Clinique take the day off that I use. The Clinique stings my eyes. Will this be good for waterproof eye make up
I tried the mixa hand cream and I must say it's brilliant!! My hands had gotten really dry in the winter so much so that I had dry and rough skin around my nails.. And I feel this hand cream has made a huge difference. I hope they come up with a foot cream as well!
I use the Waleda calendula cream on my face! I had some dermatitis round my nose and chin and the zinc oxide in nappy cream cleared it right up! Amazing! Not just for the bubs X
I use the Weleda Calendula Face cream. It's really emollient - especially good as a night cream. Great as a base for make up too, if you have dry or normal/combination skin. Easily as good as some of the high-end creams (especially the CT Magic creams).
The Mixa Rescue Balm is lovely....used it recently to help me get over a cream containing Hyluronic Acid which caused me to have a red sore and blotchy and dry breakout.. xx
AniaBumba Yes they do- 5 full size pots or tubes and you get a free face mask. You don't hear many TH-camrs talking about Ultrabland but I LOVE it. Nice to hear you also enjoy it Ruth, don't forget to keep the pots- can't remember the name of it but the blue face mask was great, preferred it from the chocolate one
Hey Ruth, your skin is beautiful as ever! I bought the Superdrug 'b' day cream spf 25 and it's amazing, gives my dull skin a youthful glow, but not shiny, and so cheap! I've tried plenty of more high end creams, but this rocks!
I love how you really consider what you're saying about the products you're recommending. I have never gone ahead and bought anything recommended by a TH-camr other than you. Hope you're having a good weekend Ruth, all the best!
We have Mixa here in the Czech Republic, haven't tried it though. BUT, what I wanted to say - the repairing hand cream with the red lid looks super similar to one I've bought in Lidl actually, under their private brand Cien - the packaging looks very similar as well as the consistency, and it is also called an SOS cream... That one was pretty cheap, as you'd imagine. I would be very interested if it's the same thing - gonna have to check the ingredients!
lol I have been using that weleda nappy change cream for all my kids for almost 10 years. It's the best stuff, very natural and warming on baby skin :)
Love your recommendations Ruth. I'm always looking for good body moisturisers so have placed an order for the Mixa cream whilst still watching the video. Its on offer at Superdrug at the moment so even better!
Mixa isn't a pharmacy brand - at least not anymore - in France though, it's mass market (albeit a high quality, affordable one). Glad it's available in the UK now!
Mixa is more a French supermarket brand, it seems, rather than French pharmacy. You'd have been looking in the wrong place if you'd wanted to stock up whilst in France, but hey, no need now, it's on sale in Superdrug!
Wish MIXA could come over to Sweden. I also struggle with dry skin on my body and I end up mixing clinique body cream with palmers body oil which does the trick but I'm always hunting for one product to rule them all.
I am a recent convert to Superdrug B. Micellar Oil. I have used Simple Micellar water for a good while to take makeup off but still feel it leaves me feeling a bit tight, and I've fairly normal skin. The B. Oil feels lovely on, quite lubricating almost, and when its wiped off with damp cotton wool you realise exactly how poor you used to be at cleansing! Pitrock Crystal Rock is the only deodorant that stops me getting whiffy during a full day at work. As I lean over people all day that is important. It isn't a perspiration reducer, but means that strap hanging at the end of the day is not embarrassing. I'm just about to order the smudgy brush- thanks Ruth!!
Thanks for the info about Mixa - I know it's an ad but I'm obsessed with French pharmacy products and didn't know about this brand and it's a lot cheaper compared to the other French brands I use.
You should try the PitRok crystal. It's even more bizarre as you are basically rubbing a rock on your wet arm pits. However it works very well and will last for AGES. Also good on sweaty feet 🙈
The cleansing oil is my favourite, it has just the right concistency, not to thick, but not to watery either. The other face products I've tried I didn't really like it, but for the price, you can't really complain... They also have a hand cream in a orange tube (I think it's the calendula one?) that I keep going back to for years. :)
Deodorant does not stop you from sweating, it stops you from smelling. Antiperspirants are what stop you from sweating! They are two different things :) xx
Mixa isn't really a pharmacy brand in France though. I have only ever seen it in supermarkets, never in pharmacies. Their hand cream is good, and I also liked their micellar water.
Just a quick note on the deodorant for anyone who is concerned about using aluminium: the PitRok deodorants contain ammonium alum, which is ammonium aluminium sulfate, so they are not aluminium-free. I hope this helps.
I also use a crystal deodorant and I have to agree that it feels quite strange to be sweaty but not smelly! The one I use you have to wet under the tap because it's literally a chunk of crystal, so I might have to try this one for a more 'user friendly' alternative :) I love it that you videos are so informative even if they have an ad in them, how you really incorporate the ad into something useful and valuable for everyone :)
L'Oreal also owns Maybelline, Garnier, NYX, Lancome, Urban Decay, Giorgio Armani, YSL, Kiehl's, The Body Shop, Clarisonic, and the list goes on and on... they own like half the popular brands out there. Basically whatever they don't own is probably owned by COTY.
I found that The Body Shop Camomile cleanser butter is really good at removing water proof makeup and it's also very hydrating too xx
Yes! Such a good one
Sarah Barnes butter? Is it in a tub? I only saw them in bottles
Monette Athlete , it comes in a tin. It's very thick in the pan, but goes to oil on your skin. I love it, great to remove makeup
Judging from the tester, it feels like the Clinique take the day off that I use. The Clinique stings my eyes. Will this be good for waterproof eye make up
Try Bioderma H2O... amazing removes everything (also waterproof) in just one move
I tried the mixa hand cream and I must say it's brilliant!! My hands had gotten really dry in the winter so much so that I had dry and rough skin around my nails.. And I feel this hand cream has made a huge difference. I hope they come up with a foot cream as well!
Yes that would be nice. X
I use the Waleda calendula cream on my face! I had some dermatitis round my nose and chin and the zinc oxide in nappy cream cleared it right up! Amazing! Not just for the bubs X
Ha! No way, would never have thought of that. It's such a good cream.
This cream also calms and soothes skin after shaving. It's really amazing!
I use the Weleda Calendula Face cream. It's really emollient - especially good as a night cream. Great as a base for make up too, if you have dry or normal/combination skin. Easily as good as some of the high-end creams (especially the CT Magic creams).
The Mixa Rescue Balm is lovely....used it recently to help me get over a cream containing Hyluronic Acid which caused me to have a red sore and blotchy and dry breakout.. xx
Lush used to accept those empty black pots for recycling - 5 empties = one free face mask. Maybe somebody knows if they still do it. Great video Ruth!
Good to know. X
Love this! You look so well and full of energy! xx

I've tried loads of waterproof eye makeup remover but can't find better than Nivea Double Effects biphasic one. Cheap as chips and gentle too.
I love how you really consider what you're saying about the products you're recommending. I have never gone ahead and bought anything recommended by a TH-camr other than you. Hope you're having a good weekend Ruth, all the best!

Like your style and appreciate the fact that you've openly indicated that this is an advertisement.
lol I have been using that weleda nappy change cream for all my kids for almost 10 years. It's the best stuff, very natural and warming on baby skin :)
The Ultabland is amazing but the Body Shop balm cleanser is just as good!
Love your recommendations Ruth. I'm always looking for good body moisturisers so have placed an order for the Mixa cream whilst still watching the video. Its on offer at Superdrug at the moment so even better!

Mixa in greek means boogie 😊😊😊
Goes right up on my shopping list for France this summer.
Linda Libra Loca zumindest die Mixa - Produkte habe ich gerade im DM gesehen. Bei den Allergikercremes 😊
Oh, toll, danke für die Info. Da schau ich doch direkt mal vorbei.
Wish MIXA could come over to Sweden.
I also struggle with dry skin on my body and I end up mixing clinique body cream with palmers body oil which does the trick but I'm always hunting for one product to rule them all.
Hi, you have been looking beautiful with a lovely glow to your skin after having the baby, it becomes you🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you! x
Some great products. Thank you! You brighten my day, you're so funny!!
I used the weleda nappy cream too, it lasts ages too and I still keep it to hand at age 4 just for the odd rash x

Great video - wish these products were available in the US (Burts Bees is the exception).
Mixa Bébé is also a very popular side of the Mixa brand!
You should try the PitRok crystal. It's even more bizarre as you are basically rubbing a rock on your wet arm pits. However it works very well and will last for AGES. Also good on sweaty feet 🙈
Ok I'll try that next!
Bryony Edmondson I love the crystal! Lasts FOREVER!!!!
Just ordered the Repair balm. My face is a bit dehydrated so thanks for the recommendation x
Hopefully this means they'll start stocking the mixa cleansing oil and the bb/cc/dd creams. Can't get excited about body products tbh.
Ooooh! Didn't know they have face stuff!
Model Recommends yes :) have bought in supermarkets in Belgium, and the superdrug eviqualent, never seen in UK though.
Mixa do a Baby's range too.
The cleansing oil is my favourite, it has just the right concistency, not to thick, but not to watery either. Love the Ultraband cleanser but my favorite is Neils Yard Beauty Balm, multi usage as cleanser, moisturizer, mask etc. But it is so expensive.
You look stunning in this video!!!
You're skin is looking beautiful 💖 💖 💖 💖
I love ultrabland way more than the Eve Lom or Votary cleanser.
I just now bought Mixa coz it was the only fragrance free lotion I could find at my local store.
Ooooooooo the Mixa stuff looks good. Will give it a whirl! Dr Roger 😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
Rog.
Bought Mixa after seeing it on Alex Steinherr's instagram story and I love it! It's sooooo hydrating and the packaging is so cute and retro!
I Love the mixa lotions a lot !
Could you review and swatch the Burts Bees new lipstick range? Thanks
Deodorant does not stop you from sweating, it stops you from smelling. Antiperspirants are what stop you from sweating! They are two different things :) xx
Mixa sounds pretty fab!
Mixa isn't really a pharmacy brand in France though. I have only ever seen it in supermarkets, never in pharmacies. Their hand cream is good, and I also liked their micellar water.
I LOOOOOVE THE MIXA REPAIR CREAM IT MAKES YOUR SKIN SOSOSO SOFT AND IT SMELLS SO GOOD. YOU'VE JUST EXPOSED MY SECRET TO A SUPER SOFT SKIN LOL😊
❔❓
Mixa Hyaloronic acid moistarizer
Vs
Neutrogena Hydro Boost
.
Anyone has an opinion which one's best?
Nivea Creme - an oldie but a goodie 😊
Just a quick note on the deodorant for anyone who is concerned about using aluminium: the PitRok deodorants contain ammonium alum, which is ammonium aluminium sulfate, so they are not aluminium-free. I hope this helps.
we have mixa product in my country for a long time now but i never try anything.... well now is the time :D
Adore the Burt's Bees!
I do not see mixa products coming to Greece, as the name is very unfortunate, it means ...snot! every time you said it I laughed so hard!
I have used cases of that it's great for the face but still not the best for the eyes
Ruth looks like a beautiful ballerina. 💗
I also use a crystal deodorant and I have to agree that it feels quite strange to be sweaty but not smelly! Thank you Lucia x
Totally unrelated but I want to see your new hair cut please!
Coming up! : )
Boots no 7 eye make up remover for waterproof mascara.
The crystal deodorants really don't make much sense if you want to avoid aluminum. It's made of Potassium Alum aka Potassium Aluminum Sulfate.
unfortunately the ingredients in mixa products are really bad :(
nahna how so!!!???
More baby products would b brilliant ☺☺
literally snorted at Rodger, the codger ,ooo err . odd looks from company
mixa, exactly how you pronounce it means boogers in Greek. this brand wouldn't do well in Greece
I hate that most of the face products from MIXA have fragrance/parfum. 😭
Does high street equal drug store in the states?
Sorry, should have watched the whole video before asking, I now know.
where's the hamster?
Anascissors I
Hallo zusammen ich habe die Creme auch ausprobiert wer mag =>> th-cam.com/video/ibMx6tUrE7k/w-d-xo.html Herzliche Grüsse MB
Mixa= L'oreal
i feel like everything is ".. = L'oreal" recently hah
Is it? What a surprise! Hmm maybe not now then..
efica284 burts bees is owned by Clorox. 😩
L'Oréal also own Vichy, La Roche Posay and Roger & Gallet...
