This was a good reminder to me as much as I wish my teammates had fully developed brains most of them are just kids. Important to remember when I'm trying to figure out why they make the dumbest plays.

This person is likely younger than most unite players and unlike them can speak professionally without the need to scream, insult or tilt even once.
It's a breath of fresh air to see that there are truly decent people playing unite. Most of our playerbase have a lot to learn.

Jake and Leftovers are not in good terms everybody. Just don't use it. Really, don't. It sucks. By the way, I love your match here buddy. You sounds like a very good Unite teacher. A love from me for you❤
I tried using Leftovers myself and just felt like the amount of healing I got from it was negligible, like, you're just in combat too often to get the benefit. Even on Sableye (I thought 'hey go invis, heal up a couple seconds, better to recover HP than try and stack and risk dying for just a bit more HP') the recovery out of combat is just slow to activate and not super strong so more often than not I didn't get enough HP back from the leftovers to be worth using them.

That'd be an interesting idea for a road to master. Coach to master where every game or every couple of games you coach a viewer with a pokemon or role they're not used to play. But it might be a little too close to the one you just did

Can you please explain how you are able to set it up so you can use voice chat and stream at the same time? When you connect a mic to the Nintendo Switch Dock, it stops sending audio through the HDMI. So, how do you still have sound for the stream while having a mic connected for voice chat on the Switch? I have been trying to figure out how to do this for a long time. Thank you.

As somebody who was stuck in Veteran for 21 seasons before finally getting into Ultra (Pretty damn close to Masters now) Comfey is definitely your best choice.

Really hard to find teammates who actually are that nice and most of them don't even listen causing the team to suffer. Some players focus on complaining instead of the gameplay.

The kid said they saw him secure ray with clefable before that match so it's probably just the kid listening to him via his stream.
Saying that leftovers isn't useful is good, saying *why* leftovers isn't good is better. (i.e. it only activates when you're not in combat - and wild Pokemon count as being in combat)
Is muscle on char fixed?
It has been, well... in Unite's terms. Apparently it procing more than once was a bug so they "fixed" it. They did give zard a small base atk stat increase when they did that as to not kill the mon so it should be fine.

kid sounds wholesome, but I think this is a perfect example of what you were wondering in your previous video. He was a blue badge Greninja, who was using leftovers, didn't know where to farm to get his evo, united at 2:45 to save you, stood in the middle of the pit and immediately started hitting Ray, and somehow ended up with 10 elims and being mvp... He plays Greninja simply because it's his favorite pokemon, which is fine, but it's clear he didn't actually know the macro of the game. He just genuinely enjoys Greninja. So it's very easy to see how when a few mon are broken they'll have a great win rate but as soon as they're not, win rates drop off a cliff. People aren't actually learning/playing the game. They're just playing what's "fun and easy". And the game is never going to punish them for it so it'll just keep happening over and over

How to turn on voice chat function?
There's a little microphone icon somewhere on screen in both the selection screen and match UI. It might be different for switch, but on mobile it's located next to the setting icon (top right corner next to the timer). On the selection screen it's next to the item loadout thingy.
I think for Switch you also need to have headphones with a microphone since it doesn't have a built-in mic.
How does the kid have a blue badge tho . . .? That's a bit too much playtime to be running leftovers.

He was so chill and willing to learn!! 🥲He was making all the mistakes we usually complain about, specially the leftovers Greninja and it was because he didn't know how to play properly, not a troll, and actually listened to the advice, can't get mad at that
