I totally agree, I thought that the dip switches on cartridge were really awesome. I think a little too often nowadays we see the usual software menus to select thing's and not that that a bad thing but it's just nice to see something different and old school again like this. Wireless or Bluetooth connectivity would have been cool but either way though the feel of the joy stick and the overall good feel and build quality make up for it at least in my humble opinion. I can say that we haven't experienced anything like that ourselves, in fact ours has preformed flawlessly and the build quality on ours has felt really good. You just ordered it last month and got it already? I ordered mine as soon as the pre-orders opened, and I got an email that mine won't ship until December. 😡
Sorry to hear honestly, originally in the beginning Amazon gave me an estimated arrival date in January at the first of the year sometime if memory serves me right but I got an Email soon after with an updated estimated arrival of the 21st of this month but it arrived early on the 19th. I can understand the frustration as I felt it when I thought I was going to have to wait until January, sorry again but I do hope you have allot of enjoyment with it when you get yours. Something that comes to mind is It might have something to do with being an Amazon Prime member, I'm not sure if that had a factor in it. Thank you for watching and commenting, it is appreciated.

Wish it was wireless or Bluetooth enabled. Having to stretch an HDMI cable over to a chair will not be convenient

The controllers were very stiff back in the 80s

Side by side comparisons show it not up to the quality of an original unit. Controller lag in most games, shifted display colors.
