Martin Muller is sorely missed as a musician, as a dear friend and as the great human being he was. Those who were his friends, like myself, can attest that Tito Marino's description of Tino is just right. Thank you.
The Portena Jazz Band of the late sixties and early seventies was in my opinion the greatest traditional jazz band in the world. They had a style and a sound of their own, integrating the Argentinian lyricism, with a wonderful and powerful pulse. Does someone know if there exist somewhere videos of this band in the late sixties, with Alfredo Espinoza on sax and the fantastic Norberto Gandini on cornet ?
