- Normally, I go up the London Road in Thetford on my mobility scooter when I go shopping.
But, I thought, what if you lived on the Bury Road side of town?
You would want to cut through, and not go down to the junction of the old A11 at the Chase pub.
So, I looked at ways of cutting through from Queensway and Kingsway.
And to take it to the extreme, I decide to start in Old Market Street and take the scenic route up Nuns' Bridges Rd.
It was a lovely trip.
7:14 where those give way signs is where you access the route that goes through the woods, there is also a turning about halfway through where the substation is, you can access the industrial estate as well, if you have tubed wheels though i would avoid as there is quite often smashed bottles on the ground.
Thanks for the info.
I assumed there had to be an easier way to get onto the pavement rather than frightening the cat and bumping up the kerb.
I imagine it is quite a nice cut through in the summer.
