Watch my "How I Use Lead Sheets for Playing Piano" th-cam.com/video/mesxDxb3_Wo/w-d-xo.html I currently use iPad Pro 4th generation (12.9 inch) I also use the app “Genius Scan” for scanning instead of taking photos that I did in this video. It’s much easier to use! 👍🏻❤️😉
@Erik Von Handorf don't know skipes... i use "Songbook+" at iPad and "Mobil Sheets" for my Android Tablet. But at most jpg needs more space then pdf. And "Sonbook+" only acept one jpg😢 Some of my Songs are longer than one Page... So i looked for a Programm to make pdf from all my jpg. and I found "Genius Scan" Since this very seldom I use my Canon Flatscreen Scanner for PC!😉
I usually go to the notes app on iPad, click the camera icon, select scan (choose ‘grey scale’ for best results). Really easy to use and seems to produce better quality than the scan now in ‘forScore’. The scan file produced will automatically (usually), name itself from the title of the music.
Your accent is awesome. So I’m looking for an iPad app that I can use to generate musical score and/or midi in real time with my digital piano. Basically as a way to capture musical ideas when I’m brainstorming. Is this possible on the iPad?
You are a riot, Sangah! Piano tuning is 1% ear, and 99% facial expressions! Thank you for confirming my assumption! hahaha! This was a REALLY great "How I..." video! Loved it!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you Sangah, I just bought an Ipad air, windows kid here. So All of this is very new to me... Thank you for sharing the ForScore app. I plan to use it and help my playing...👀🎹
The best features of ForScore IMO are "Crop" (automatically cuts out white space and fills the page, amazingly accurate) and "Links" which you can use for repeats and DS al coda with your bluetooth page turner pedal. I have one of the custom buttons on my pedal configured to activate the Links button. Nice video!
Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I had a gig where the stage lights washed out my sheet music and I couldn’t see what was on the page. I vowed to get the sheet music/iPad thing going. Now I know how. Thanks!
Good evening. Use the pedal to turn the page! I didn't know there was such a device. Sangah is so familiar with Apple that many people have seen this video and found it helpful. Good luck, sangah! 👍
You are a wonderful youtube surprise for me! I have this binder of tabs for gigs that finally blew apart. I finally decided to get an ipad for all this sh*t. Just randomly found this video and now I'm a fan. Thank you.
I stumbled onto your video about forScore after I had already downloaded the app. Your video brought me so much information. The way that you get music is amazing and I am using it now... wow! Thanks for the tip. I used to play a lot and around Christmas I started playing again. I have now challenged myself to post a song every day for at least a year. I wish I could play jazz chords the way you do. You are amazing.
You're so smart! I appreciate the life hacks! I think it makes total sense and I might have to do that! First I need to buy an iPad though lol I think this is the only time the Apple Pen will come in clutch. Thanks for sharing this tip!
You are Uber talented and HILLLLLLLARIOUS!!!! I definitely learned some things from watching this video but and I SURELY LAUGHED my butt off!!!! Thanks!!
forScore (thanks Oleg!) was the reason I considered getting a tablet in the first place. Went out and got an IPad Pro with a pencil and a foot switch and have been using this combo since 2017 and it's literally fantastic. No subscription but a one time purchase. Nearly as good as listening to Sangah.
I have to thank you for your last video about the pedal 🙃👌 . After I went and took a look at what most people are using and most seem to be the same as you , I wasn't happy with buying a pedal when I have a quite expensive Bluetooth mouse being waisted in the draw , due to Apple not supporting them for the iPad until now . So I put the mouse , that's only a centimetre at max height into a cup , that's also only about a centrmetre deep and goes around the mouse . Then put them under the dampener and hey presto , when the mouse is on the iPad it clicks the arrow to turn the page . It's a bit heavy but the mouse clicks before the dampener would press , couldn't believe it . I am a late begginer though so " treading carefully " just about sums the hole project up ..... May have to update to better like you if I make it to feeling that the piano was more than just a good investment 🤑🦷👀👁👨🎤.
This video is just what I need. I had purchased all the items you mention in this video including iPad and seeing this video makes it so easy for me to put it all together. Thanks Sangah for all you do in sharing your knowledge with fellow musicians like myself.
You are the best .... " Not tutorial " . ... then you are very informative ! Great information. I love the purple and love that you being you is the focus. How ever you did it .... perfect !
I remembered seeing this video and you convinced me that I should try forScore. I’m so glad I did. I found out you can synchronize your wav file backing track to your page turns. Thanks!
I have been wondering how you did this. I saw the iPad but I never saw you swipe to turn the page. Thank you for sharing this. I'm sure there are many musicians who will benefit from this video. Even when you are not playing the piano for us you still give a wonderful performance; informative, humorous, and your beautiful presence. Thank you Sangah.
I’ve been using ForScore for over 1 year. We moved to a condo after retiring and I needed a way to keep all my sheet music. The scan function is great and easy to use. I scanned most all of my musical scores and linked it to my DropBox where I can upload all to have a backup too. (BTW the name is ForScore, not ForeScore)
Very informative. Being able to load my PDF Real Books, make annotations in scores and create set lists will be extremely useful. Handsfree page turning and it's pure gold.
Great video! You sold me on forScore which led to the purchase of PageFlip's Dragonfly. Both products work great together and the Quad Pedal Dragonfly is way more useful than just turning pages and navigating Setlists. It makes handling D.S. Al Coda and Coda repeats a breeze to navigate.
I'm also using this app for my violin busking which I can add the background music to each sheet music n it will turn page automatically once set up is done.😎 Amazing app!
You need to input the background music from your desktop computer to the iPad by syncing them through itunes. Then set them into the forscore app. Good luck!
THANKS SO MUCH AS I'M JUST STARTING STREAMING AND AM NEW TO ALL THIS TECHNOLOGY, PLAYING WITH A 25+ PC. JAZZ ENSEMBLE..EHCB. JAZZ BAND.. YOU HAVE UNCOVERED A HUGE AREA FOR ME. THANKS FOR BEING A GREAT ARTIST & SHARING NOT ONLY YOUR TALENTS BUT INFO FOR US OLDER GENERATION PERFORMERS! GOD BLESS. J. RAZZ-Razzjazzman.
Tu es si communicative de ton bonheur autour du piano, c'est un délice de partager ces moments privilégiés avec toi, merci pour ces superbes partages Sangah ;-)
I enjoy your videos a lot! Glad I discovered your channel while scrolling TH-cam ❤️ And yes, don’t we love our Apple devices - they are great for musicians especially!
HI Sangah, I am so glad I just ended up with your video during a specific search. I am so glad you are Korean because I am sure you kow what I am talking about. I am "obsessed" with the series "King affection" and I am looking for all the sheets music of the series and I can't. I just found 2, the 2 most common but that is it. I am looking for the 4 or 5 other OST titles sang by divers singers. Please, could you help with my research?
Thank you so much for this instructive video. If you play more than one Instrument it's allways difficult to organizeall your sheet music and your video is so easy to follow.
Thanks Sangah! Very informative and entertaining! 😃 I love it! By the way I am one of those people who carries a suitcase of binders to my performances and I also have a lot memorized....but I'm not getting any younger, haha! This is something I have thought of doing for a long time, so your video was very helpful and timely. Thanks again 😊👍
Thank you, Sangah, you are amazing. Learned more from you, than any lesson, I had taken. By chance that beautiful picture of an abstract piano in vibrant colors, behind you, can it be purchased anywhere? Good luck!
Are you just using the regular 10.2" iPad? Do you find yourself squinting at all? The 12.9" iPad Pro has a screen that's almost exactly the same size as a standard sheet of paper, so that sounds so nice.
📌Hi. Are you alone for the livestreaming video shooting or somebody shoots the video for you? Also fo change scenes , use OBS in live ?❓❓🤔( sorry for my english)
Thanks for the forScore walk-through. When I want to scan paper music, I use my iPhone and an app call Office Lens, it will capture multiple pages and these can be saved as pdf's.
Love your work Sangah. Hoping that you had more sheet music for your improvs. You should package them in a book. It would be a big seller. There's software now that will do the notation for you.
I can’t get the i am human check the boxes 📦 off of a boat or bike to work. Do you have to go to the google, type name of the chart PDF then go to the website? Or can I go to the website and put the name of the song and chart requested? Grrr technology!!

@13:20 wow
Apple and iPad-Page-Turner should sponsor you directly for advertisement, and forScore too!
Oh Sanga you’re so goofy. We just love you.
Thank you for an EXCELLENT video. You are just as precious as you can be. God bless you.
Learn somethings AND have a goofy grin pasted on my face, while watching the wise and whimsical, one of a kind, Sangah!

OMG! The Links...that's exactly what I need! I'm going to buy a bluetooth page turner pedal for sure. Thank you for that tip.
Omg thank you
Links?!? Yes please. That’s great, did not know it.
I recently downloaded ForeScore and I was initially lost. Your informative (and entertaining} video was most helpful. Thank you.
Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I had a gig where the stage lights washed out my sheet music and I couldn’t see what was on the page. I vowed to get the sheet music/iPad thing going. Now I know how. Thanks!
There's that infectious smile .. you're one of a kind
You até Just amazing...so happy and so natural...
Your intro "jingle" is so professional sounding!
Good evening.

So, you like this app, you use it long time. But you still don’t know, how to write it down correctly: forScore
@@Oleg__ you also like "write "
Inge Ulbricht, I used voice dictation and that’s how system recognized my speech.
Thank you, exactly the information I was looking for.

To turn pages just tap right or left on the ipad screen. You can use bleuthooth connected pedal btw. This is the best app ever for musicians
