Simply looking at the statistical data that these FOUR HOUR videos, got over 20,000+ views (in the old channel and now they are around ~3.5 thousand views) > that's undeniably a lot of views < imagine having ads placed in them because they are completely owned by The Escapist. One 15 second ad every 3 or 4 ZP episodes -> that sounds reasonable to me. The Escapist wouldn't have to be worried about this happening! Instead, they'd be benefitting from it. Not to mention the work is already done for them. Note: I dunno about how ads work, but if you can control the type of ad to NOT be the minute long, but you can hit skip 5 seconds in, that would be best. The best part (for me) is that I enjoy this without paying too much attention to it. I do watch the videos often, but I'd prefer not to interact.
I haven't gotten any claims on these videos by The Escapist yet, so I'll try and contact them to see if they'd claim them. I also don't plan on monetizing these videos for my benefits, so if you're worried I'm taking money from them, it's aight.

Well, you now have at least a partial answer: Yahtzee has some kind of medical issue with his (right, iirc) hand; in recent streams he's been wearing some sort of brace on it, and he's taking anti-inflammatory meds. It sounds like something that could be the result of long periods of repetitive hand activity in an awkward position (for the hand). That's why there's such a thing as mandatory ergonomics training for desk and computer work in many workplaces. For example, that kind of training is a requirement for all PhD students and academic staff in my uni department; it really gets a bit annoying to repeat. Also, I'm 6'8 and it's very difficult and/or expensive to create a "properly ergonomic" workplace for me... Yahtzee is not much shorter, I imagine he has similar issues
Oh Yahtzee, how you must regret that endorsement of Skyrim given all the face pissing that goes on nowdays. =P For him not knowing Seelie fey or Jotun I have to question his baseline interest in anything fantasy to start. Then the base Tolkien races are there because A) They're established and liked and B) they're relate-able. People already get bitchy when you add in stuff like Dragonborn. Or when you evicerate established concepts like Tiefling or Aasimar for the novelty. Partially because they're trite. Even the Mass Effect Asari are honestly kindof boring and follow an scifi trope of "pretty much human in makeup but with 1 quirk they play out". Its the same thing Fantasy currently does without the honesty. Its like saying nuevo instead of new. Its not a novel phrase, to sound pretentious, its the same word wearing a new language-coat to wow you and it just ends up making the whole thing seem farcical. To round back to his point about a lexicon it ends up in the same place. All the seelie and jotun are at least established if you've looked into any myth, so you can get around some oft he lexicon reading, but if you throw Asari at someone there's no real study one can do for that without learning the new lore in the same way he's bitching about.
