Cool !!! ... looking forward to the next video to see how you dive into the edits as per the project's Figma design and also learn how you implement the Client First classes and naming convention into the whole structure of the site. Keep up with this great work. Thanks !!!

Awesome! Yes I’m going to get into all the specifics in the next video and go over classes! It might be a long one. Tempted to live stream it 😬

@@gammadesignco4102 In my opinion LIVESTREAMS are absolutely great, because one get's the have chance to ask questions on the spot, and you can answer them as they come. And as much as I would love that over watching your recorded and edited video, since I work there's a good chance I won't be able to tune in. Also, considering that your following is still small, you might end up livestreaming with nobody showing up. If that won't faze you by all means give it a try !!! ... one thing or the other, as soon as I have a chance and come back to TH-cam and see a notification from your channel, I'll absolutely sit to watch that video or stream !!! ... btw, are you guys publishing every week, or every Monday, or something along those lines? Any date already marked for this pt.4 of the series?

@@richuack153 Yeah it doesn't phase me haha. I know the following isn't big but it is nice to do something all raw and work through the kinks. I can timestamp it later! I am shooting for once a week for now. I just missed my Friday as I went out of town and couldn't quite cram in the edit! I have part of the design part filmed but I am chewing on how I want to finish going about it. I have been noting down questions and comments people have to try to answer them while I record!

@@gammadesignco4102 Despite watching several video tutorials from the Finsweet folks I am still wrapping my head around their Client First System. The structure of the classes I need to follow, deciding when to add another class. Yet and I reckon this channel is not for that specific aspect. For that should be the FinSweet resources. As for Relume, I can choose all my components, but as soon as I start making changes, adding my images, and the spacing and layout start to look odd, and I then try to make adjustments here and there to make it work, I end up messing it up. Actually adding the images have been very troublesome for me. Maybe sharing how you place your images, when as a background image, when as an image element. Or what tools you use to edit, optimize, or prepare them before adding them, things like aspect ratios, size, file size, etc really get me confused. Other thing that comes into my mind is making it responsive. As I work down the different breakpoints I do not understand why when I come back to larger breakpoints my logo, my images or text have changed, and I change them, and when I come to the smaller breakpoints now it is all garbled and a mess. I am telling you, it has been quite difficult, what otherwise should or seem to be simple, but I can't still get it done. I am sure with brute force and practice I should improve, yet I am looking for insights, tips, tricks, best practices that I could learn and implement that could help me accelerate my learning and the quality of my work and web designs. Hope any of these pain points of mine can help you choose what things to place emphasis on your tutorials !!! Thanks !!!

@@richuack153 Hmmmm. I see. I do go over a little bit of it in the next video. I can definitely fill in the gaps a bit more with breaking down some of these concepts since after this, I'll be waiting on some content from the client still so I can't go all the way through. I did go through some of their videos in the past and didn't find some of it too helpful either. I am best when I get in there and practice with it.
This design isn't going to get too crazy custom but I did create some new classes and remake some elements because of the cms items. I think what will help is the understanding of the global classes. I can go over those parts. Since the wrappers and other parts are global, they can interfere with whatever design you are trying to do if it is calling for a different wrapper width.
I will be doing a really custom site build soon. I want to redo my portfolio (doesn't match new direction and marketing) and also my side company I run.

why you didn't use the figma to webflow plugin to copy and paste?

This was way before the plugin was released! Working on a new video that will come out with flux academy soon!

Hi do you have any courses youw ould recommend on making the ui look good? I struggle with the deisgn part even with the structure of using relume. My sites tend to look boring.

I understand that feeling! So personally, I haven’t taken any but I’m always trying to better myself as a designer and creator. I have a few I’ve looked at going from most expensive to the least expensive. One I’ve been really considering has been the course from Flux. He has had some of the best Web Design specific content I’ve come across.
Google does offer a UI/UX course as well that is 40/month and you get certificates. I’m always looking at these to better formalize my work as I’ve learned on my own since high school.
Third, something more affordable would even be Skillshare. I’ve been using this for more creative design but I’ve seen a lot of web content here too.
