I am really surprised how people will stand behind bad driving because badly written rules technically permit it. Forcing an opponent into a disadvantageous position without him making a mistake of his own is unsportsmanlike behavior and there are people here defending it and calling Max a ruthless competitor because of it?? why be a sportsman if you are just going to exploit rules to gain an advantage over your opponent like its some sort of video game? If Max is ahead at apex and they both go off track and lando comes out ahead then the pass was done off track. this is why lando repeatedly asked if he was ahead at the apex because he knew what would happen if he wasnt. this is a failure of the mclaren pit wall. even the commentators knew he wasnt ahead at the apex. idk why its so hard to explain this to british people. maybe your rotten teeth have worked their way up to your brain and are rotting it as well.

And lando went of track and overtook max and gained an advantage overtaking offtrack., and btw u can run 3times wide before a penalty. McLaren had the option to give the position back for not penalty but they didn't.
