Wow, back in the day, she looked like a teen magazine model except she wasmaking a positive difference to the 🌎. Much ✨💗✨
Ikr :)
no she didnt
Thiago Yea, she did. You’re entitled to your opinion.
@@midnightcat6116 Correct. I'm entitled to my opinion, and my opinion is that she did not look like a teen magazine model.
Thiago Yes, you are. Much peace to you.
Jane Goodall has been my role-model since I was a child. I hope to make an impact and help wildlife like she has. Thank you Mrs. Goodall :)
We're so glad to hear that! Jane was an incredible individual!
National Geographic jane *is*
Mine too. Mostly, because she was able to become a scientist. She did have great support from Dr. Louis Leakey who was also a scientist hero of mine. She is now known as Dame Jane Goodall, Goodall is her maiden name.
@@NatGeo guys... She's not dead
National Geographic she is alive as of today.
Her book "In the Shadow of Man" is a great read about her experiences living with the chimps and gaining their trust.
Jane truly is an inspiration!
OE Beats maciladecabayos
Well
It is an amazing comments
I shall order the book then :)
If only people could hear you Jane Goodall. Makes me cry when I listen to you and think about all these humans who refuse to hear that animals are sentient beings like us. The way humans treat them is just forever unforgivable.
johan millais But I’ve known people who were like that and changed, becoming advocates for animals. Don’t write people off!
@@TheAuntieBa That is just but the minority of humanity I'm afraid.
Not every animal is close to high intelligence nor sentientism, like chickens for example.
Plus you can say how other species treat other species unforgivable , for example sometimes a Hippo will just run you or other animals down for no reason and Dolphins would use small animals to play ball.
A woman who wants to reduce the human population is making you cry. That’s why humanity has no chance of surviving in the next 100 years ;) human race is doomed.
Better not too. People don’t need to listen to a “human” who wants to reduce the Globe population ;) you are deceived. Wake up!!!
As someone who regularly devoured National Geographic from almost the moment I could first read, Dr. Goodall was one of the towering figures of my youth.
IMHO, it is a matter of considerable shame, for our species as a whole, that we have not done enough to either safeguard the habitats and welfare of our ancient anthropoid bretheren, nor paid proper homage to the tireless dedication of Dr. Goodall.

Jane Goodall is such an inspiration to our society. Humans and apes are obviously much more alike then some of us know, it's incredible. I really hope to study wildlife when I'm older as well in Africa or in Brasil. My father studied wildlife in the Amazon Rainforest for many years and told me that that was one of the best and most incredible experiences in his entire life.
A member of the WEF and she wants to reduce the world population. That’s your inspiration, no wonder the human race is doomed ;)
She has been one of my childhood heroes and role models. I love Jane Goodall and her magnificent research and protection of chimps. She’s amazing.
“I was 11 when Tarzan came out (Book) and I was in love with him, and what did he do? He married the wrong Jane.”
😂😂😂😂😂💀 She has a sense of humor too. I love her, she has dedicated her entire life to the understanding and survival of chimpanzees. That is a Love and Strength that’s missing in today’s world and it’s only getting worse. Passion is a dying breed
@Wuhan Virus humor is American English. So technically, it’s spelled correctly.
The book came out in 1914, you're not that old lmao. Also, Passion was a chimp in one of the troops she observed and she was a baby eater...the more you know!
@Wuhan Virus you must be stupid.
@Wuhan Virus I'm not British nor did I say anything about Ms. Goodall not being smart. I called you on your stupidity because you argue to argue and can't accept when you're wrong about something as mundane as spelling.
Then do something about it. Stop complaining.
read her books. they are amazing
She is an amazing person!
I read two books beautiful

Same i did to
the first thing that came to my mind was jane from tarzan. lol.
Actually Jane from Tarzan was inspired by Jane Goodall
In her masterclass, Godall said that she was jealous from Tarzan's Jane, because he loved the wrong Jane and she wanted to be his Jane.
I believe Tarzan was written before Jane made her journey but I don’t know
Ali is right she said that Tarzan inspired her and that she was disappointed that Tarzan married the wrong Jane lol
so much we don't know, so much left to learn
She was so beautiful when she was young!!!!
She is still beautiful ❤
Ihyisha Thomas yea so beautiful
She's always beautiful
Still is!

Jane Goodall and David Attenborough. No words. ♥
I watched the documentary Jane and it is utterly brilliant. Jane is an icon and a phenomenal researcher!
She will always be in our ♥ no matter what. ❤💛💚💙
I love Jane Goodell she.makes me want to be a biologist .Im in the 5th grade .in fourth grade she had amazing speech and I was in the front row to see
An image of her is flying through space on the Voyager, not many people can say that
Rusty Shackleford That pleases me no end. 💚
A professor during a Zoology class a long time ago told me I am like Jane Goodall. I took it as a compliment. That was a very long time ago. Zoology turned out to be not my best choice of a career however I have never lost interest in it after finishing my first year of university in a Bachelor's degree there. Some years before that I was told by a doctor I would be for the rest of my life sick while needing to take medication with risks for the rest of my life as if it was too late for me too. That doctor and the next one too after I slowly weaned myself off those prescription drugs without telling them at first were both then to learn about how adults do have brain plasticity and the ability to learn well into their old age thanks sometimes to the healing process too.
Dr. Goodall besides being a beautiful woman, but also bright and kind. You are my idol and an inspiration.
This movie was phenomal, I even got emotional!
Who could not fall in love with that beautiful face, soft spoken and intelligent voice.
such an inspiring human!
"You just know..."
Every time watching her in a video with chimps reminds me 30 years ago listening to her speech at MMC, DSM, her voice mimicking chimps' greeting... Mr. Hugo Van Lawick and Serengeti Symphony...She is always beautiful....

The remastering of the old footage looks insane!
Shes my hero. Iconic.💛💛💛💛
I just cried with this, I'm an evolutionary biologist now, and her inspiration is just astonishing.
Uh yeah sure. I think her shorts and good looks were the only thing astonishing to you. Lol
That certainly is worth crying about

@@user-eb3kw6tz9l yeah I didn't buy the evolutionary bilogidybit either. Lol
thank you jane, from us all primates
I am literally reading a national geographic book about Jane Goodall while watching this 😄 she is my role model. I've actually dressed up as her for Halloween once

I love how I got a Jane Goodall master class ad before this 😆

I loved her specials coming up as an kid. Her & Wild America made me the animal enthusiasts I am today.
You just can’t dislike her
a had Jane Goodall's masterclass commercial before video,is that purpose or just weird coicidence? :D
That was awesome!!
Wasn't it? Be sure to check out JANE on Oct. 20!

Jane Goodall what an inspiring lady!
It was a short video but i do like learning about jane goodall so i still like it
Nice video !
Her along side Steve Irwin were my childhood idols her legacy is amazing
Many thanks jane 🌹
Great story & yes, great photojournalism.
Thank you, Pedro Lupe! 🌟
Where can I watch the full documentary?
When did they make this footage?
Love love love her... Her story is so awesome and real. The background music could be lower for my ears tho. ❤️🙉👌🌄🙏
Who are the 118 who disliked the video? What’s to dislike about observing such undeniable likenesses in our animal breathren. Afraid of the blatant reminders that we are animals of the earth; the reminder that centuries of lies have been told in the name of god(s) to cover this fact.
Didn't know they had any kinda HD back then Jane's in her 80s
We've had HD for a century. All movies that were shot in 35mm film are the equivalent of 4k its only recently that screen technology has caught up. 70mm film like Ben Hur is technically 12k resolution.
@@Cleisthenes607 Thanks for the information
She is amazing,smart,brave,and patient
Wow! Great HD!
That's exactly what I was thinking. This is amazing quality film especially considering it was, what, 50 years ago?

Amazing!!! Keep on going and never give up!! You have a very positive impact on the world!!
Gosto muito de novelas notícias dos famosos notícias do movimento enfim não entendo inglês só português Isabel Batista Gonçalves obrigada pela atenção.
wanna know how she started this?
Ok!
Her dad gave her a teddy bear it was an animal she loved it so much and everyone who came to visit her house well they thought it was real and they got so scared of it and when she grew up she went somewhere where chimpazees are and when she was done with school she goes there almost everyday and then she went back to school to study mammels
and this is why she loves mammals
I watch her video at school today
Aww. She’s so young here! 🙂
Why did i get an ad of jane on this video
Jane was absolutely beautiful!!! She had this very suttle look to her that belong on the cover of a magazine. This was the real Jane of Tarzan & Jane. I remember her from a child. Her love for the Chimpanzee world is so amazing. I too have a love for Chimpanzees and have always been fascinated by how much they’re like us.
I reading her book „Wilde Schimpansen“ im german. That is amazing😍😭 I love! ♥️
In light of her accomplishments and the role she plays in society it might seem a bit frivolous to point out what a stunningly, radiantely beautiful woman she was and how much of her beauty she effortlessly conserved into old age.
제인구달님 건강하세요♡
Jane Goodall is the ultimate template of "growing old gracefully" and beautiful inside out. Such a distinguished lady of pure substance, kindness and example.👍🏻💪🏻🙏🏻❤️
Fallen in love with this video...Is it possible to contact such a great personality???
i love her sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
Rest in peace Jane Goodall
She's still alive.
Fascinating human being.
This footage forces me to see that no woman ever grows beyond the age of 18 in her heart. Makes me look at her at an old age and see her exactly as she looks here. It's stunning.
She's soooo beautiful outside inside.❤️❤️❤️
At least you're not hiding that you think she's hot with saying you really are interested in her study of chimps. You're being honest you think she was hot to trot in the 1960s which is why she got so much press. Lol
just got the Jane Goodall masterclass advertisement right before this
SHE IS AMAZING
LIVING LEGEND!!!!!
You reminds me , Steve Irvin , David Attenborough, because you have dedicated as much as they did . According to my understanding that person who love with nature and dedicate to preserve it who is a precise and wonderful person . Thank u 🙏
Phenomenal woman!!
Should increase the sound of the outro
Cool video.
