Your very first find at 2;21 was not a chunk of exhaust, It was a gas filler pipe from a car or pickup truck, check the cap you found and see if it fits! At 8:00 Detecto was a manufacturer of bathroom scales in the 50s. Good hunt!

Why, yessah! We even had us some stoves, WITH OVENS; inside toilets what flushed; faucets inside the house; colored tv (black and white are colors); refrigerators, though some folks called them “iceboxes”; HiFi stereos that played these black shaped discs called records and lots more! We was sophisticated “waaaaay back in da day”!

Fantastic finds today Tyler, and Alex. Alex pulled out a very old weight scale. We have one like it in my washroom. Your boat is perfect for magnet fishing, as you can now fish from almost any waterways anywhere. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️.

I always loved your videos when you went to the factory building. Not sure what it's called but it's where you found all the files, drill bits, and old beer cans. Is it possible to put your boat in there? It would be cool to see what's out there in the middle.

I was wondering how long the breakwater has been there, there is a similar breakwater along the river where I live. built after a devastating flood where some houses were swept down the river. the rest of the houses were flooded up to the chimney. Besides the breakwater a huge dam was built. You can imagine how much stuff from the houses would still be in the riverbed, Perhaps you are pulling out items from a flood in that location. (My grandma swept our piano out the door )

Hi Tyler that floppy square piece of tin I think that it's a side or back of an old dishwasher, stove, or dryer. Some of them that are made flimsy because they would have narrow flat braces to keep it squared. Some were under the counter & only have insolation wrapped around the sides but the back had a piece of thin metal where the plugs came out.
Bet you that's copper the barrel has a green color in the metal my folks kept news papers in one & another with wood to burn in the fireplace. When we were kids Mom had 2 in the kitchen one for onions & the other for potatoes.

Yes, the thing Alex found is a bathroom scale for weighing yourself. My parents had one like it back in the 50's. I still have it and the weight is still accurate but you can hardly see the numbers anymore through that little round glass.

Lid you found on 2nd toss is the lid to an old coffee percolator you put on the stove. The opening on the top had a glass "bubble" so you could tell when the coffee was dark enough. (Or something like that.)
