That log tool is called a cant, used to roll logs, like up on to a sawmill. Nice find!
Yep also used while setting utility poles lol
And putting log rafts together pretty much anything u need to move a log

7:47 Should of wrap the magnet/rope around the bike , put it back in the water , paddle back to shore while dragging the bike behind you. When back on shore real the bike in.

That log rolling tool is incredible. This was a fantastic fishing trip.
Tyler, you should definitely make some stabilizers for the kayak so you don't flip. It'd be perfect for what you use the kayak for. Can make it out of pvc pipe, zip ties and some foam/pool floaties. Especially when you have heavy things on like that bike! Safety first my guy.

The log tool is actually called a peavy, which is different from a cant hook.

That is a logging tool from 100 to 150 years ago. Great find!!! The viewer that said it was a peavey is correct. You can still buy them today online but the wooden handles don't appear anywhere near the size of the one you found.

That is actually called a log peavey. Very similar to a cant hook. Nice find!
“It was connected to something”, a longer arm to hold on to. The pointed end went towards the log.

That 1200 pound magnet has always been my favorite. This is what I’d be using if I were a magnet fisher person. 😁
5:30 That shovel blade might have been for scooping coal on a steam-powered boat (that possibly explains why it was dropped out in the middle of the stream) of some kind. The blade does indeed look blackened the way it would if it had been used for shoveling coal, and those worn-through holes in the bottom may have been from repeatedly scraping a hard rough surface, like when digging out scoops of coal from a bunker. :D

3:05 Shoehorn that is bent?.. bend it back, paint it and put it on the wall, makes it easy to get your foot in the shoe :)

Hi that iron thing is called a peavey pole used to move logs. That one is old and missing its pole. We still use them.

that wire thing you found wire well it's pretty darn old that's the second one you found the first one was part of it this one you got it all !
squeeze the wires end it sparks a flint to light up maybe a propane cannister it's an antique 😍 clean it up and hanger up wow you're so lucky! 👍🏼👍🏼

Cool historical finds in the shovel, fork and the cant as other veiwers are calling it. They are really evocative and make you think what was going on around that area a hundred + years ago. The make me think of that America gothic painting with the old farming couple. I hope you keep them and don't just scrap them. When its winter you could do clean up videos on all 3 from your work shop. I always enjoy your videos whatever you find but I cant think of any better finds than these 3.

Thar bracket with the hole was a thing that you put at the back of your shoe so you can put your shoes without tieing them
