    Funny story, after watching the first video of this job where you got stuck, I got an SSV65 stuck GOOD. Almost rolled it too. Long story short, I was operating above a retaining wall and ship went sideways. Wall sucked me right in. Luckily someone with bigger equipment offered to bail me out. That's always a humbling feeling for sure.

    With the kubota strainer, when you insert the nozzle, funnel, or whatever, make sure that you don’t punch out the bottom. The pieces from the filter collect in the tank, and then eventually clog the fuel system. We just got our mini ex back from the dealer for that problem

    1:45 -40 is the default lowest temperature. Basically your ambient air sensor (normally in the grill area) is junk or wiring issue.

    • @FishFind3000
      @FishFind3000 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also having a bad sensor like that at least in bmws will cause the ac not not work correctly. The car thinks it’s crazy cold and will only run the ac for a short period of time and shut it down. Giving the impression of short cycling.

    • @AndyFromm
      @AndyFromm 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FishFind3000 fords aren't that smart with the ac.
      I did have a bad ecm coolant sensor reading -40 all the time when I bought it. It wouldn't run when warm because it was running way to rich thinking it was cold.

    I would shut my entire business down in a heartbeat, and move to come work for you brother. I love the diversity of your projects. I’m stuck in a cycle of brush and land clearing and gravel driveways. It’s the biggest demand in this area for us. I love retaining walls and paver patios etc etc....basically hardscaping. But not enough money in the area for a huge demand for it and the logistics to get the materials here are normally a extra cost that turns potential customers away from having it done. Not too mention me and the wife has been talking for two years about moving somewhere new. Lol anyways lots of love and respect to you, your crew and family!

Since you're not wanting dirt left in the road each day, and you know your going to work that dirt before you go home, send the dump driver to get the last load of dirt but park the truck until the next day so you have the dirt first thing and have a jump start on the next day's progress.

    I pull a 16’ SureTrack dump trailer with a 2021 GMC 2500 Denali black diamond edition. The guys at the quarry load me extra careful. It also looks super cool

    i would say this is pretty good as it is with the Monkey Claw i would Say maybe a Monkey Chainsaw claw version in order to cut up trees and the like ? something i was thinking about doing with a local Group near me that i work with for my pet projects and is ok with new ideas in fact i had one idea that i bounced off to you for the other trailer ? a Local Company did that for me but what they did is have a thick bottom Layer of the same you have for the new trailer and Minced inbetween them they used a thick Steel deck with the upper Layer covered in the black rubber material they did a phenominal job i love what they did since i do have two Excavators that way 16 Tons and a 35 ton i got my deck Rated for the smaller one which i had custom made as it is but ya i tend to cut up dead trees allot so i have the Frost claw which is basically a chainsaw + Grappler combo that also runs off the same way your Monkey claw Does its a good design im always looking into finding new ideas to make it better myself so i talk to allot of people that i work with that uses it so far they love it the new design im working on is going to have it be able to Rotate like the Grappler you have for that one excavator that you refuse to change the attachment lol basically will act exactly like that but able to cut up right trees VS those you cut down with a chainsaw XD overkill but eh it works for me :D Something you can look into with that company you work with they probably could look into doing something with the new Monkey claw 2 or will it be 3? Either way

    When I worked in the oil field the company I worked for had base woek trucks and the foremans had lariats or better. Man those trucks got DIRTY inside and out

    Re Denali as work truck: Boss leases a Denali for 3 years then his company buys the truck off the lease program and the boss gets a new lease unit. The leases are expensed and the used purchase is an accelerated write off. Win-win.

    I use my Denali on our property and haul everything a 1/2 ton can with in reason. I had the truck before we bought land. I won’t buy another fancy truck again other than the 6.2L motor. Don’t care for the wheels and no one wants to do a small level lift with the magnetic ride system on it or will do it correctly. Just a good deal on the left over body before the 2019 body came out. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Stan that was a lot of bucket loads I would guess the neighbor wouldn’t let you take a few sections of fence down to get a small dump truck or your trailer in the back yard. My new U35 Kubota excavator has the same screen in the fuel tank neck.

    • @Dirtmonkey
      @Dirtmonkey  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      On the skiddy that screen is a nuisance. maybe on the excavator it works better.

      @@Dirtmonkey I bought some 5 gallon gas cans recently with a similar filter screen (or flame arrestor?), and had the same dang issue with "wearing the fuel" when filling them! Also, that Monkey Claw seems to be an indestructible beast, but surprisingly capable of finesse too!

    Always like your vids. So I thought I'd share something that helps me out here and there called, ' I don't always see." and it goes like this.
    I don't always see when I see what I see.
    To be able to grasp a moment,
    open my eyes and my mind a bit wider and
    bring what I find inside me a bit deeper.
    Just might make for a bit of a better day.
    Why? Because?
    I don't always see when I see what I see.
    Jekelex
    Hope y'all have a better day, lol.

    Why not remove that little bit of old fence and trim some branches so you can back the truck in?
    Is there a old culvert or something that you don't want to back trucks over, does the fence have some sentimental meaning to the home owner that it cant be removed and replaced?
    It seems to me like a few hundred dollars to replace the 3 or 4 panels and fence post would be way cheaper than bucketing it all from the road.
    I don't know this site of course but if possible make it so trucks can back in and dump then do a 2' lift on half the pool and let a guy with a walk behind diesel packer pack the lift while you make a lift on the other side.
    If it's 50 yards, then it doesn't make sense to remove fence but if its a few hundred that adds up fast 1 yard or less bucketed in at a time plus all the demo going out that has to be bucketed to the road.
    Love the videos, just curious.

    Stan, I have to remove the hydraulic fluid screen on a Bobcat mini excavator. It has a very annoying low fuel alarm. When diesel fuel gets to 1/4 tank of fuel. I like the Wain Roy manual change out bucket connector. It is great stress releif.
