That was extremely interesting - I very much enjoyed listening to you as the topic is very close to home. You are absolutely right when you say if the Church was able to love Gay people the way they deserve to be loved they wouldn't go and find love in the backroom of an adult library. The Church should be held accountable for many lives destroyed because of its un-Christ teaching. GOD BLESS YOU Preston

"E" for effort & enthusiasm & entertainment. [btw Lev.18:2 classifies sexual laws as under pagan idol worship.] Just for the record, I'm a happy, blessed, gay Christian senior man involved in ministry & supported by my born-again church. Why does the church presume homosexuality is a sex obsessed "life style"???

A servant to the King he also spoke to gay people living in committed monogamous relationships. He talked about gay people and friends of his who all have different stories and are gay. He is not being hateful or unloving in any way. I lived as a lesbian in that identity for over 20 years. His message is the message of love that God does show to us to all of us. It's all about truth love and grace. No compromise of the truth no abuse of His awesome grace and delivered to tell all of us we are loved. No other love like Jesus. Jesus didn't die to leave us as we are but to set is free from ourselves. To pick up our cross and carry it which looks different for all. That cross is not to bear a sexual identity of homosexuality but to surrender every part of our life and heart to Jesus . Glad you are surrounded by people that love you

It’s not that we think it’s sex-obsessed, we just recognize that it is counter-creation and opposed to God’s ordained order as well as being anti-reproduction and is hence a hinderance to a flourishing society. These things do not equal “Christian”.

    • @johnathanstevens8436

Anti-reproduction? As if breeding is the highest calling you can have as a human being? There are lots of straight folks who can't have children either.
All I can say is "Someone has to clean up the mess." .. There are tons of children already born who are looking for family.

Mark 16:18 promises true believers they can drink poison and not be harmed. I suppose as proof to non-believers of the truth of scripture. Strange how I can't find any true believers willing to drink a glass of anti-freeze. Makes you wonder then about the truth of Romans 1.

Sprinkle is goofy. He creates these imaginary people and then gives them each special backstories that he made up. Meanwhile his backstories aid in selling an idea to his congregation. Like how he inserted the idea that having same sex desires is not sin. Now it wasn’t Sprinkle who claimed this but rather his imaginary friend, so, take it with a grain of salt I guess?
So if a man looks on a woman with lust he has committed adultery in his heart, but if a man looks on a man with lust it’s really ok so long as he keeps it in his pants.

Nate Graham It’s possible to listen to opposing opinions with respect and yet not change your mind. Having an open mind isn’t about constantly changing your own opinion the moment you listen to an opposing argument. This isn’t something unique to this subject, it applies to literally every possible subject.

Romans 1:27 "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error".There are 6 Scriptures about homosexuality in the Bible. "God sends two angels disguised as men into the City of Sodom where the men of Sodom threatened to rape them. The angels blind the men, and God destroys the city. For centuries, this story was interpreted as God's judgment on same-sex relations, but the only form of same-sex behavior described is a threatened gang rape. " But yes, Christ loves all souls and He died for all souls. Sin is sin in many ways, not just homosexuality.

      Ben vee
Homosexuality is not a sin, but blasphemy is. The church has blasphemed the sodom and Gomorrah story against homosexuals for centuries, even inventing their own word to describe it: ’sodomite’. And u just blasphemed as well by using god as a weapon against gays by taking Romans out if context.

I only quoted words from the bible. Who knows who I am, as I have lost family and quite a lot of close friends for the way in which I live. I was raised in a Pentecostal belief and I just believe what the bible says, I cannot deny the truth in the bible which has been taught to me since five years old. So yes my partners and I have just accepted that we will more than likely be going to hell. I just do not want to encourage someone to live a life that will place them in a guilt-ridden sexual life as myself. I apologize if I came across too strong, as I cannot judge from the dungeon life which I am living, so who am I to say anything against anyone. I am scared shittless believing that we are going to hell, but I cannot be someone that I am not. I should not have commented on this video.

God isn't cruel. The entire notion of how and when and if we go to hell is so shaped by our culture we forget the Bible is actually very unclear about it. God wants the best for you and I know my faith only grew since I have a boyfriend. Don't give up on God because you have an idea of him that is false and distorted by teachings and culture.

@@benvee9675 in those quotations especially from Roman's 1, the question could and should be asked, " What happens to those gays who honor and glorify God as God, and who do worship the Creator over all creators, will God give them over to a reprobate mind and to further "uncleanness." I'd say Paul was a fallible human like us and was stating His opinion about what God thought...

You wrap the message in a lot of new bubble wrap but it’s the same old tired evangelical message. If these were slave times you’d be saying “it’s painful but the Bible says [insert pro-slavery Bible passage]. And to insult to injury you think Jesus agreed with jews of the time and forget his utter disdain for them. He called the Pharisees hypocrites, preached against their traditions, and the Jews are the ones who killed him yet you think he agrees with them on this subject... because he’s a Jew. You can’t be serious.
