Don't really want to be one of those people, but... Ever heard of the girl group Dreamcatcher? Their main sound is rock (their Japanese release called "Endless Night" is a lot more metal), they have a good discography, and darker concepts of either horror or fantasy. Their older stuff is a lot more rock and metal influenced, while their newer stuff keeps the rock influences while throwing in some EDM. I assume that you may also know of BabyMetal? They're Japanese, though. I do agree with David Barrow that she could switch over to rock and it would work. A lot of what she does in her music videos would really make sense while going for rock. Edit: There also exists a girl band called "Marmello", but I think they disbanded and are fairly hard to find. They do rock, but they have a cuter concept, if I remember correctly.

That's actually exactly the same story as me haha, I was raised with metal and rock music (I'm 22 atm) and I started to listen to K-pop as well around 2016 in the first days of Black Pink, and since then I've seen very interesting things in the K-pop industry that somehow have to do with rock or metal music but nothing like this in particular, I mean, I've heard pretty awesome metal covers of K-pop songs but this is the artist herself actually singing with an awesome metal band! It's great!
