Hi Derek! You did a great job explaining the operation of the camera. I recently acquired the FX that my grandfather used to have and the shutter has a tendency to jam at speeds lower than 1/250. What I have to do to fix it is to remove the lens, keep the mirror up and gently tug at the shutter curtain sideways until I hear a click and the crank can be operated again. Removing the lens and keeping the mirror up of course has the possibility of ruining part of the film so I was wondering if you had a solution to this problem. Cheers!
I'm not sure what the problem is but I have a canon ae1 program with a similar problem and I have to take the bottom plate of and lightly oil the shutter mechanism sorry I couldn't help more
@@rekitupdm Thanks for the input! I've found that working the mechanism a bit on all shutter speeds helps reduce the chances of the curtain being stuck. I'll look into trying to lubricate the shutter mechanism like you said as well. Thanks for the help!
Hey, nice Video! I have a question. Can you only make black and white pictures with that camera, or can you also do colored pictures ? I want to buy one, bit i am not sure if i can do colored pictures with that. Thanks
I'm having trouble with the advance level not moving or hearing the shutter, it worked in the store which is why I bought it but I got home and it's not working - any advice?

I like your videos and the passion you put in each one. I hope one day I can shoot in a camera like the one you are holding. Regards!
good luck its a great film camera to use
Hello, great video. I have an FX black. Is it any difference between the chrome and the black?
I don't think there is any difference between the chrome and the black versions of the FX both operate in the same way
