I have the Mustang derelict as my drift car and it is fantastic! it holds drifts really well and retains power great. The maxed-out VW Beetle is currently my race car, as it can do 0-60 mph in just 1.67 seconds (with 5 acceleration perk parts, all chidori). Not so good on the straights though. I used the Fairlady for a while for race but it didn't quite have the right feel to it.
This guy should deserve more from us He breaks world records. He makes tunes to break these things. from the 8 hour goliath to keep the skill chain alive for so many laps. AMAZING.

The 911 Carrera 2.8 is my favourite so far after the Derelict Ford Mustang, have mine modelled and painted after Akira Nakai's Porsche, so friggin cool!
I did the math (well sort of.) $14,000 (how much you make off one competition of the event) Multiplied by 52 (number of cars/times the event is completed) Gives you a whopping $728,000 at the end of it all not counting side bets for the event due to the fact they are subject to change in pay rate and that would take a fair amount of time to note every time he takes a side bet and then you have to also give a bit of an unreasonable constant for said side bets to give something within the range of how much he's made in the video. Needless to say if you want to make money and have a lot of free time then get as many drift cars as you can and go at it on the event. (For those that don't know the event name: drifting the block [if I'm not mistaken]) Edit: so it cost the legend $15 million to make. If we go with the estimated $728,000 you're going to need to do this roughly eight times to get close to having that money back. If you do it ten times, again at the estimated $728,000 that would give you a return of $23,296,000.
I did a different build for each derelict, I went drag for the VW, and it's super fun! I'd like to eventually do every build for every derelict, so I look forward to seeing what else the Bug can do!

I have a bright pink Mustang Super Build drift car called the Pink Panther, I absolutely love it, it has the blower but i used the glitch to remove the hood which makes it look amazing!
What tuning do you use for the Huracan? Also, do you have an issue with drift cars where the front wheels don't completely center when you center the thumbstick on the controller?
I've been using a Super Build Bel Air and it works good, but camber would make it work even better. As far as favorite engine sounds: Mercury Cougar, BMW M3 (E92), BMW M4, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, SRT Viper, McLaren 570S Coupe, McLaren P1.
I sometimes beat the Around the Block Course, with 3 500 yard drift.. i was so pissed off at my lack of skills so i told myself to drift more than the challenge said. So, there you go, 600+ challenge became 3 500+ drift. I saw some people online in youtube, they got like 3 million and 4 million.. the best i could do for each course is 1.5 million.. i am so envious of their skills..

There is really just one thing putting me off, and it's not your fault: The sense of speed seems (in my eyes at least) to be extremely off. Like, the car's drifting at 130 mph and it just looks... slow. Can you tell me your experience with this? Can you relate me or is it just me?

Personally I don't care what the best drift car is. I don't go for top of the leaderboard. I use what car I want to. In this case, the Huracan
