I suggest retesting the nitro stat, raising it one notch at a time until it no longer works then show us how fast it goes. (Could be done with each stat to test the functional limits rather than maxing them out)

I think that in some settings (brakes, nitro, handling) you've overflowed variable holding X setting, turning positive value into negative, and vice-versa. This is why over-saturated braking speeds you up, and so on.
I thought the same thing but on the other hand wouldn't the slider jump all the way into deep negative suddenly at that point? Edit: Nvm i realized the slider (blocks) probably aren't directly linked to the variable

Also it becomes pretty clear when you compare ramming police blockades on late game cars. Without changing the parameters you'll rarely send a car flying and you will fly yourself, but when regulated correctly it strikes cops like a Rhino.

i've done the vlted method, it can be insane. change the charge and recharge to high values inf nos, set torque boost high and rocket foward. but if you set it too high then upon reaching top speed you shift to 1st gear and go through gears again and again.
I tried something similar once in GT6 with a friend: Stock Huayra with comfort hard tires vs Stock Focus ST with racing soft tires on the Nürburgring. The focus won.

For the higher power shot maybe there isnt a limit to how fast it drains meaning it instantly drains and can never refill? Just a guess

From what I could observe when dial is at 0, then the nos has a value of like 2.5 per say. And when you ramp it down alot to like -20 instead of -5. You are making the increments go from 2.5 to like below 0. Thus making the car slow down instead of speed up as the coding for nos is pretty much just a second more powerful accelerator. The alternative part to the nos with duration then gets extended by its own increment, hence why it lasts forever. I'm assuming that making the NOS tune go to like +20 would mean that the nos would last for like 1 second before running out and probably taking the same duration to fully charge to actually show as filled on the gauge. Sick vid man! Debunked what I thought about the tuning settings.That is probably the most logical way to interpret what is going on there.
That's kinda wierd.. I always thought too high nitrous would make it deplete slower and low would make it deplete faster but give a bigger shorter boost - kinda like the U2 duration and power settings for NOS at the dyno.. Guess different games have different settings for performance lol
in this video, too low nitrous power will give you negative power of nitrous, which make your car deacclerate (positive power means accelerate while negative power means deaccelerate (braking)). too high nitrous will depleted the nitrous (maybe because the nitrous is shrinken below zero volume)
