These horses definitely performing well after the cross country. I feel the cross country should be the final event, but that's just my opinion.

That really defeats the purpose. It's not supposed to be easy. The point is coming back from XC with enough horse to leave the rails up in show jumping. It's in that order for a reason.

      @@Nicole-qc5dh It
s a better measure of your horse's conditioning if her has to compete after cross country.

I’m sorry but I’m cackling at the guy saying “ this round was so accurate and all his strides were perfect” literally as the slow motion video shows the rider getting left behind at a jump because the horse jumped before the rider did😂 15:20

@@emmma0808 If you're talking about the jumping specifically, keep in mind that cross country was a day before, and all of them are quite tired. Performance is not going to be stellar, especially after a cross country course like that

Omen Ayres no i agree performance would be down. But i mean. 50+ penalties? Even after a tough xc some are still pretty good. So that should be what they’re trained for since this wouldn’t be the first time they have a tough xc before show jumping🤷🏻‍♀️

Of course you can all of us can tell who has more experience with show jumping i have never done it but I used to be a horse rider a long time ago. I think if I would to start up with this again I would have to relearn everything I had learned a long time ago I actually rode for 10 years and then I quit because my instructor was playing favorites always and I certainly wasn't a favorite of hers. She was so mean to me. She made fun of my weight and how I rode it was for therapy but she definitely played favorites. I had two friends who I also rode with me who were also there for that same reason it was a long time ago I doubt that the nasty instructor or my two friends would remember me. I quit because of my instructor and as much as I rode I didn't improve much at the end. I also did in high school flags . So I quit because of the mean instructor and my dedication to my flag team

SCP-096 : The Shy Guy show jumping is a sport that requires a lot of teamwork between the horse and rider. First you make sure the horse is comfortable with jumping and is not getting sore and stressed. Then you make sure you are comfortable. You put the horses health and well being before yours.

SCP-096 : The Shy Guy trust me an 1000+ pound animal would definitely make sure to let you know that it’s uncomfortable,I don’t like animal abuse and I compete humanly,I know my horses limit and I’m not going to push it. Also when responding to people make sure you know a little bit about horses first and if you think the sport is so cruel why are you watching this?
