After I build the teapot I will fire in a kiln, which is like an oven that gets really hot, a regular oven is not hot enough. I will fire it 2 times, the first time is called a bisque fire, this will cure the clay. After the bisque I will glaze it and then fire it again to melt the gaze! I hope this answers your question!
