If the Build Back Better act was JUST an infrastructure plan, it would have bipartisan support. But its mostly another social/ medicare plan. Take the prescription drug plan and ect. out of an "infrastructure" plan and I guarantee it would pass.

I think given the state of our planet we need to put all focus on building out renewable energy and incentivizing people to make drastic changes in their lives (without affecting their standard of living). I really hope some version of it passes, although it might be dead.

I think EV is the future and that guy who will never be able to see that technology flourish because of his age, wants to delay the wheel for the future. If you want to flood the market with EV , you need to make it affordable so the tax credit is a must. The cost of materials to make a vehicle is too high right now to ask companies to lower their msrp.

The money they want to spend for Electric Vehical chargers is not enough.
It's cool that evs are out there because it gives people options, competitive car market. Gasoline will stick around for a long time.

I personally am glad it got blocked. Those who can afford to buy it get a discount at the TAXpayers expense and those who want an EV but can't afford it can't really take advantage of it and if they do just put them self in a bad financial situation. Face it there are many out there who can barely afford to get themselves to work. All this just giving money away is just ludacris 😲

This is just a bunch of corporations trying to rush this to start leaching more money, regardless if a family can afford to make the switch and the politicians having invested in this stocks since trading is not banned for politicians, otherwise why is it not logical to focus on charging stations, making them more streamline and fast. Focus more on maintenance parts and what's needed for the upkeep and for things to be available incase of an accident. I don't want to wait 3 months to a year to get my EV fixed incase of an accident!

Just as VW Insanity stated, it's taxing everyone (rich and poor) in order to give $10,000 to people who are buying $50k plus electric vehicles. How does that benefit the millions of poor people to give $10,000 to richer people? It simply doesn't! It's not right and it's not fair. Give EV owners special parking or a special lane to drive in fine but don't take $$$ from the poorest people. Not right!!! EV can stand on it's own. It's going to survive and grow regardless!!!!!!!!

Honestly there are way too many low income people in the country that need to focus on other needs like a roof over their head and food on the table for their family... and WILL NOT use public transportation... the government needs to focus on BIG issues like maybe jets, planes and factories... or how about not using small povertised countries, like over in Africa, to get all the recourses used TO MAKE ALL THE EV"s and "emissions saving" vehicles.. Our Gov. needs to Focus on the larger issue at hand and quit trying to FORCE the citizens of AMERICA to do what some may not want to do maybe look into cruise ships too because those destroy sea life more than a Diesel truck will.. sorry for the rant just hat that America is turning into a COMMUNIST country... what happened to our rights to speech and rights to vote.............
