thanks for sharing! i think it's great that you came up with this system that seems to work for you. it takes creativity and skill to do this. and for the haters out there, you're the stupid ones that have no skills so you resort to buying costly machinery to get to the same end result. so don't hate just b/c it's not the "normal" way but rather judge on the quality of the sign that comes out in the end.
@inspectorted I thank you for the complement. it's look like you been horrified by the way i did the channel letter. But i sure you it's look the best among other signs at the shopping center and never had a problem with it for the last 6 year.
Thanks Mr WTF maybe it's not for your knowledge but you could watch channel letter 3. this video for motivation only. And i had people from another state come and learn the principle of making channel letters. ... don't forget watch C.L. 3
Sorry Alicia I'm not. I just moved over seas for family visit, it seam it will be long time till coming back to US. I usually use LED, cost between $225 to $300 that for 24"high each letter. A complete job with installation and also the distance from my location Memphis, TN will determinate the price. 24letterX$225=$5400
Really great video. How do you put on the backside? Please help I want to know how to do this. And what material is that that you use to bend? Do you speak Spanish?
Thanks for your insight .this video has been very didactic for me . I have watched it so many times in order to catch all the ideas contained in it . Of course if i ever need some more reference about it i would realy appreciate to watch it again .thanks for your attention Marco
You Channel letter pros should be showing some more respect for a person who is giving a good tutorial for the people who wants to learn secrets of the trade .If you guys have a better idea . Why in hell don't you share it..
Did you really not glue your trimcap to the faces? You have to be kidding me?!? Plus, the corners should have been notched, just because it is the best looking sign in the complex doesnt mean it was dont the right way. As soon as your jewlite breaks down the faces will blow out on a windy day. I just hope that people dont watch this video and think this is the proper way to do it. Maybe you should look up Wagner Jewelite's recomended construction methods and UL specs for signage.
