This takes me back, did this for a long long time, we always used to solder not weld but it seems to make just as good a job of it. Nice work. You may find that stopping at a corner point means you get a better finish on end product.

Plasma cutter is a colossal cut50D. I don’t believe they make that brand anymore but there are similar ones for the same price is very cheap like under $200

Michael Whaley A big one is try to use some type of an aluminum bar for a heat sink behind your weld while you’re welding. Also curious are you using gas to weld way or flux core?
@@AMakersJourney thank you and it's going to be enclosed so I won't be able to get behind it with an aluminum block and I'm using 30 flux core wire only
Michael Whaley that flux core unfortunately could be part of the problem. If you use a little bit thicker gauge you could probably get away with doing flux core with no problem with maybe 18 gauge or 20 gauge

What the sheet material you use to bend at side.. It look so easy to bend.. I usually used galvanised iron sheet .. But the letter quality is bad ..

De hecho la dobladora es un tornillo o yunque modificado
Con una cisalla puedes hacerla , en algún deshuesadero industrial puedes conseguirla y cortar y ajustar a las muelas de una prensa o tornillo o yunque cómo lo quieras llamarle

is that a mig or flux welder?
It is Meg with gas. I always feel like flux core gets a little hot for such thin metal. But with practice I’m sure you can do it with flux core

Is 24 gauge thick enough for a belt clip like what you find on tape measures? Will it retain its shape under pressure?
cyberpine No, I would recommend something like 16 gauge. it’s thicker and holds form better

UA Representative It is a colossal cut 50 D. You can get them on eBay for like $250. I’ve had mine for about two years now works great

Heyyo Bonjol it is all 24 gauge the strips and the letters. I use .023 wire running out of my mig gun.

Lupang Pinangako it's called a colossal tech cut50d plasma cutter. It will cut up to I believe 3/8 thick plate. Going to put a link below the comment here. I had mine for over two years it runs great.
