  • On May Day these were the plants in blossom in shades of yellow, purple, lavender, violet, red, orange, apricot, and so on. Most are California native plants plus a few non-natives as well.
California native plants include: autumn sage, baby blue-eyes, Blackfoot daisy, blue-eyed grass, buckwheat, bush aster, ceanothus concha, Cleveland sage, coast sunflower, deer weed, desert globemallow, farewell-to-spring, globe gilia, gum plant, gum weed, long-stem evening primrose, May night sage, Mexican bush sage 'Santa Barbara', Mexican petunia 'Purple Showers', milkweed, palo verde, pitcher sage 'El Tigre', purple nightshade, seaside daisy, Sundrops, verbena, white sage, woolly blue curls, and yarrow.
Hope you enjoy! Plus, no matter what its size, I hope you're enjoying your own springtime garden.
