- Do you have a hot, dry slope where your plants fail to thrive? So did we. This shows how to terrace the slope to create level planting areas. We added a fast-draining soil to help water absorption. And we're adding a gravel mulch to further slow runoff and help hold moisture in the soil. This terracing should greatly help this slope.
Native plants include: agave, autumn sage, brendegee sage, buckwheat, Dara's Choice sage, lavender, rosemary, yarrow
