No, this is my genuine opinion on the matter. Most of pj's feats are focused on observation, deduction and manipulation, I didn't see alot of fsiq feats but the few that he does still puts his fsiq somewhat high.

You really overrated Johan. Patrick wins in outsmarting low-mid diff and overall mid diff. He has much better feats, and I’m talking about on screen feats. He easily takes most of the categories. Johan is not even close to Patrick’s level of outsmarting and manipulation won’t help Johan against someone like Patrick, he’d see right trough Johan’s tactics. The only thing that would help Johan would be his influence but that’s like cheating, without his influence he wouldn’t stand a chance against Patrick. What people don’t seem to understand about Johan is that he’s smart and seems like he’s untouchable only when you compare him to characters like Tenma, Roberto or Lunge. Patrick would easily outsmart any of them too. But if you’d put Johan against characters like Sherlock, Hannibal, Patrick, Moriarty, Baku or other smart characters, he wouldn’t stand a chance, especially without his influence.
If johan was put in a c&m against patrick (which I believe you are talking about) johan would take it. The only lead patrick and the fbi would have would be tenma. However, if johan knew that patrick was on tenma's tail, he would likely place tenma under surveillance to make sure that his plans arent destroyed by patrick and his team. For johan, predicting where tenma would be is extremely easy for johan (proof would be library scene) so placing surveillance on tenma via hitmen or other 3rd party isn't hard. And the reason why i believe johan would consider patrick a big enough threat to do this is because he managed to catch red john and killed him. Obviously red john was known as a infamous serial killer who had a notoriety similiar to johan, a "nigh impossible to catch killer". The fact that patrick killed red john would show that patrick would stop at nothing to catch his suspect, even if it means breaking the law. And this is even backed up by Patrick's past actions, like when he essentially tortured someone to make then confess. This means that patrick would straight up kidnap tenma if he tries escaping (which he's done to a few other people in the past already), so johan would obviously send someone to protect tenma from a distance. And if you're wondering how johan would know patrick is on his case, johan has many corrupt cops that work for him (think of the blake association but less severe). This means when his case is handed to a specific group, for example, the fbi and patrick's team, he would gain this info and act accordingly. Its also how he indirectly destroyed lunge without even having to send anyone to him. Analysing johan crimes are nigh impossible as he leaves no clues behind which could indicate him. It was literally stated by lunge, who is an expert detective who could completely replicate a killers psychology with minimal clues. And if we're talking categories, I think johan takes sq, eq, manip, decep, planning, strategy, manipulation, and creativity >= Patrick takes fsiq >= (yes my opinion has slightly changed), thinking, memory, intelligence, reasoning, foresight, observation and deduction..

His insane influence was the pillar of his uncatchability, altough obviously there were multiple other aspects as how he kept ahead. But taking away his influence makes the c&m more tricky, but I would give pj the win if they had no influence throughout the entire c&m. Pj mostly works alone (like you've stated here) so he has many feats on working alone. However since they both have no influence, pj would have to catch/kill johan without help from authorities to plan an ambush (like he's done before). Meanwhile johan would need to anticipate Jane's movements in order to actually kill him without being killed first. I don't think doing this is impossible for johan, as red john was capable of predicting pj's suspect list and some other things, which shows that pj isn't completely unpredictable. But in the end I still think pj takes the c&m with no influence. Not sure about the diff but definitely around very high diff.

No, this is my genuine opinion on the matter. Most of pj's feats are focused on observation, deduction and manipulation, I didn't see alot of fsiq feats but the few that he does still puts his fsiq somewhat high.

You really overrated Johan. Patrick wins in outsmarting low-mid diff and overall mid diff. He has much better feats, and I’m talking about on screen feats. He easily takes most of the categories. Johan is not even close to Patrick’s level of outsmarting and manipulation won’t help Johan against someone like Patrick, he’d see right trough Johan’s tactics. The only thing that would help Johan would be his influence but that’s like cheating, without his influence he wouldn’t stand a chance against Patrick. What people don’t seem to understand about Johan is that he’s smart and seems like he’s untouchable only when you compare him to characters like Tenma, Roberto or Lunge. Patrick would easily outsmart any of them too. But if you’d put Johan against characters like Sherlock, Hannibal, Patrick, Moriarty, Baku or other smart characters, he wouldn’t stand a chance, especially without his influence.
If johan was put in a c&m against patrick (which I believe you are talking about) johan would take it. The only lead patrick and the fbi would have would be tenma. However, if johan knew that patrick was on tenma's tail, he would likely place tenma under surveillance to make sure that his plans arent destroyed by patrick and his team. For johan, predicting where tenma would be is extremely easy for johan (proof would be library scene) so placing surveillance on tenma via hitmen or other 3rd party isn't hard. And the reason why i believe johan would consider patrick a big enough threat to do this is because he managed to catch red john and killed him. Obviously red john was known as a infamous serial killer who had a notoriety similiar to johan, a "nigh impossible to catch killer". The fact that patrick killed red john would show that patrick would stop at nothing to catch his suspect, even if it means breaking the law. And this is even backed up by Patrick's past actions, like when he essentially tortured someone to make then confess. This means that patrick would straight up kidnap tenma if he tries escaping (which he's done to a few other people in the past already), so johan would obviously send someone to protect tenma from a distance. And if you're wondering how johan would know patrick is on his case, johan has many corrupt cops that work for him (think of the blake association but less severe). This means when his case is handed to a specific group, for example, the fbi and patrick's team, he would gain this info and act accordingly. Its also how he indirectly destroyed lunge without even having to send anyone to him. Analysing johan crimes are nigh impossible as he leaves no clues behind which could indicate him. It was literally stated by lunge, who is an expert detective who could completely replicate a killers psychology with minimal clues.

@@phobicaddict I understand what you mean but Patrick would probably trust no one with information on the case like he did when he was after RJ, so saying Johan would know what Patrick is up to because he would have people in the FBI is in my opinion invalid. Patrick didn’t even tell Lisbon what he was up to most of the time and he trusted her the most. As for Tenma, Patrick would probably get in contact with him without Johan finding out and they’d work together to take Johan down because that’s what Tenma wanted too. Also, your arguments rely mostly on Johan’s influence which I said he wouldn’t beat Patrick without. Yes, if Johan had his influence it would be as easy as sending a hitman to kill Patrick but if Johan didn’t have his influence it would be an entirely different story. Imagine Johan was just a killer and he killed people himself (he had to plan every crime and he worked alone) and Patrick was the one who needed to catch him without help from the FBI or anyone else. Who do you think would win? I say Patrick because he’s smarter (even you said he takes fsiq) so he’d find a way to outsmart and catch Johan. As for the categories you think Johan takes, manipulation goes to both (every person Johan manipulated, Patrick would have been able to manipulate too), deception goes to Patrick (he was able to deceive RJ who’s smarter than any person Johan deceived), planning and strategy would go to Patrick (again, he beat RJ in planning and strategy in their last encounter in which PJ anticipated everything which is better than anything Johan did) and creativity is subjective but the ways Patrick was able to turn any situation to his advantage is much more creative than anything Johan did (but that’s just my opinion). I’m sorry if I seem aggressive, I just like debating and when I’ve seen how much you wrote I got exited.
@@andrewsp1230 If johan was put against pj without influence, I have to agree that it is much more likely that johan would lose. His insane influence was the pillar of his uncatchability, altough obviously there were multiple other aspects as how he kept ahead. But taking away his influence makes the c&m more tricky, but I would give pj the win if they had no influence throughout the entire c&m. Pj mostly works alone (like you've stated here) so he has many feats on working alone. However since they both have no influence, pj would have to catch/kill johan without help from authorities to plan an ambush (like he's done before). Meanwhile johan would need to anticipate Jane's movements in order to actually kill him without being killed first. I don't think doing this is impossible for johan, as red john was capable of predicting pj's suspect list and some other things, which shows that pj isn't completely unpredictable. But in the end I still think pj takes the c&m with no influence. Not sure about the diff but definitely around very high diff.
