God, I watched this LP YEARS ago and GOD THE NOSTALGIA. This was like the first game I ever played and just seeing some gameplay of it makes me really happy.
Is it just me, or does the sound that plays when you pick up collectables sound very similar to the sound that plays when you pick up coins in The Simpsons: Hit And Run?
Yay Flick gets a mention (not many people that I know like her). At least I'm not wetter than a cut snake? Matt needs to win or get super close. Those tikis seem super annoying, they should have added a tiki finder as a reward for beating the final boss. I like the og feel to the game though, it's very Crash-esque.
She's not the most popular character so far, but she's still in the game so there we go. It is definitely a classic-style game with the modern Titans influence. A really healthy blend.
I only had the Wii version, I didn't even know the DS version existed! I feel like the Wii, while having the better graphics, was not what I was expecting from crash, this version actually looks LIKE crash bandicoot to me, too bad the this game would cost a good 60 - 100$ to get on amazon(I use amazon more than Ebay) due to it being on collecters due to the DS being obsolete.
I'd love to see you try out shadow legacy, I haven't played it in years but I remember really liking it as a kid, I've been thinking of revisiting it myself

You reckon? I'd say MoM DS is a true debacle and a disgrace to the Crash series. This one though? Not so much; the environments are actually a bit like Twinsanity, especially a later level.

I believe it's the same. That sound effect was reused in Crash Tag Team Racing as well.
I'm really liking the stretch and squash cartoony styled animations in this - very close to Naughty Dog's original vision!
Very much so! It's the most "Crash" like game since Twinsanity.
So far, this game looks cool. I might try get it for my DS. I first found out this port is substantial from a guy called Square Eyed Jak.
