Great video showcasing the struggles of trying to learn the art of surf casting. I’m still learning myself but having a blast doing it. Tight lines brother keep at it !
I appreciate it man. Learn something every time, simple is definitely best in the waves. I'll lug by bag onto the rocks but I'm cutting way down when I'm gonna be in the water
Jesus Christ, hard session id say. Good on you for sticking that session out despite the mishaps with your gear! I guess one is better then none. I'm sure you'll get dialed in soon enough Boyt!
great editing man ! keep at it . this is 9 out of 10 trips for me lol . makes you question your sanity but also keeps me coming back for more . if it was easy everyone would do it !
Great video!! Way to stick it out and keep trying. Thank you to giving props to us surfcasters, we are definitely a different breed. It takes years of reading wind, tides, water temperature, plug techniques, etc to hone in our skills. All that said, even we surfcasters are left scratching our heads sometimes. If you put me on a boat I am a fish out of water.....hahahah. Keep pluggin' and tight lines!!
I moved to Maine in 2019 from NW Louisiana. Sadly once i moved up here i stopped my fishing and outdoor hobbies for multiple reasons. Happy to find your channel as a newbie to the area of the country. Augusta based here and i plan on doing more this year!

It's definitely messing with my pride but I'm hooked.
Thank you for this video. I do not fish but learned that it is not easy.

I'm definitely keeping a record of time, tide, dates and moon phase.
Just had my Legend brake too when I fished in Casco Bay camping with the family a couple of weeks ago. Hoping they fulfill my warranty claim!
