I like Smartneedle, too, but the designs are so dense, my machine (Bernina 770) has a lot of trouble with them.
My snowman stickers from Babylock still work fine on the Solaris. You can get the Brother and the Babylock snowmen online.
I've bought from Smart Needle before. They do have some fun designs. I did their pan handle embroideries as Christmas gifts

Even if we don't know embroidery machines, we wouldn't know what to get - I had no idea what to get. My first was a Viking (back in 2013 or 2014) and it was so complicate to use I gave up and didn't try embroidery again!! I am a techie, but that machine was not user friendly - way too many steps to get from point A to point B!! I know that now. I got rid of it and got me a Brother 3500D. I now graduated to a Babylock Flair which I absolutely love! it is wireless too!! I can't afford those fancy machines, so this Flair is next best thing for me.

I’m A Brother Baby also. First was 1995 Bernette 1st embroidery home machine they made 4x4. I was sold totally!
Brother's software (PE-Design) has had printouts with snowmen for several years. Snowmen work great until you center your needle on it and poke a hole in them. Then it's bye-bye snowman.
Congratulations, Becky!! When I buy an emb. design, I print up the page that has all the design info, such as color changes, and I keep them in binders, such as animals, X-mas, etc. I do like being able to look thru my binders and pick out a design.
When I first started machine embroidering 25+ years ago, the big thing was to “hoop drum tight.” Now, not so much…
Love the design, I’ve used World Wedner for years but, never the poly mesh. The poly mesh I have I stuck an iron to it and it melted was not happy about this.
Do you ever use Enthusiast for your designs, Becky? I’m considering purchasing it for the ease of some of the features.
Love your explanation. Tip: I’ve had trouble trimming the copy paper on a non-symmetrical design to get the printed design (with the snowman printed) level to pin or tape it to the shirt or whatever item the design will stitch on. If you fold the copy paper onto itself along the edge of the paper, to the back right below the lower edge of the design, it will be even and level, rather than trimming with sissors. You can fold the top and sides as well, as long as you fold along the side of the paper so it is even. Thanks, Bill

Hey becky as you know i have the nv1e with all upgrades and ya know them snow man stickers .... i find that it still doesn't stitch straight with the stickers.....i have to take a picture of the garment then place it my self haha .....i dont like them stickers haha
I've never had a laser on any machine. Don't have a camera. I do use a PAL light. There are aftermarket lasers you can mount on top of your machine which I'm going to try out. I also got one in one of my monthly boxes. I'll let you know how it works when I get a chance to try it.
Any thoughts on snap hoop monster vs mighty hoops? I'm looking at getting a magnetic hoop but not sure which one to purchase Would really appreciate your thoughts

I had some issues with the snowman printout when I cut too close to alignment marks on the paper. When I left it bigger it worked great

No rain. 71 degrees @ 0800 pacific time when I watched the rerun.
I’m watching at 10:30 pacific time. It’s was 33 when I got up and it’s 48 degrees now. You must be in a much warmer place. I love watching power tools in the delayed time. I do a lot of stopping and rewind to make sure I understand when Becky shows a skill I’m not familiar with

On my Bernina 790 and Pfaff Icon 1 I have precise positioning. When I first started embroidering we prayed and got pretty good with placement. Then we learned to print templates. The sticky wasn't even invented. Now we've got precise positioning and "snowmen". Technology keeps amazing this old brain.
When you said there was more kits available for "Happy Halloween" I hopped right on and scored. Now I just have to find where my patterns went, straighten out my room and get to work.

Becky...I tested the printed design snowman sticker on copy paper for alignment after your live this morning. My Lumi found it right away...no hesitation or needle jumps like you experienced. I wonder if perhaps your machine camera needs adjustment or a check of it. I have used several times before and it worked as well. Just a thought! Thanks for all you do for us and congrats on the 72K!
Tension on multineedle is 1/3 color 1/3 bobbin 1/3 color they should be pretty close to even. There is a towa tensioner that can help if u r having tension issues. There is also one for bobbins. I bought mine from madeira
