sorry to aks but how does the drive belt go on a craftmans lt2000 gold series riding mower it was took apart i cant figure it out at all please someone help @@dcoop37
I have a 2012 LT2000 that I just picked up with the exact same drive belt. My problem is I think the so called "mechanic" that got his hands on it before me changed the belt and didn't put some spacers or bushings back on those two pulleys that are directly connected to the foot pedal. can you help me so i know how those two pulleys are supposed to be installed? Or do you know where I might find an exploded diagram of them? TIA for any help.
I know on my mower straight from the factory had a oversized nut serving as a spacer between the top plate and pulley. It doesn't actually thread into the bolt and only serves as a spacer.
I just put one of these on and I have the manual but it doesn't show it together and the belt I put on wasn't a mtd belt and now when u want to stop to go to reverse it wants to keep creeping forward. They tell me u have to use OEM belts on these
The correct belt is 0.66in W x 90.8in L and aftermarket only comes in either 0.5in W x 91in L or 0.625 W x 90in L. The 0.5in W is too thin and will break while the 90in L is too short and keeps the accelerator slightly engaged.
@@howardradford1985 that's correct, the aftermarket belt didn't last either it cracked bad and broke,I put the OEM back on and it's been fine ever since
The drive belt wouldn't affect the clutch. If you are asking because your mower will not even try to crank there is a push button sensor under the brake that falls out of alignment and will not sense that the brake is pressed and will not allow the mower to crank.
Good video!
It helped me verify my work and it's good.

Not a lot of info ... but good video ..... got a 1/2 by 82 “ belt too short then I got a 1/2 by 90.5 too long ... I believe it’s 88....
Did the 88 work
If ground drive belt is broken will that keep clutch from ingaging?
Clutch engages I believe but wont turn the trans/drive

I'm so stumped. The top belt that goes around 3 pulleys. Can you show how it is routed pretty please??
The pulley on the left side is a double decker pulley, so the short belt goes around the top one on that side
What size is the belt
0.66in W x 90.8in L. I have been unable to find an aftermarket counterpart.
how do you replace it? This is just a video of the cable, wheres the ‘install’ part?
Wtf man
Even a blind guy is going WTF!?
