    I know you don’t want to make more work in editing for yourself but you can record your videos and just do voiceovers so you can put out the content you want to put out until you find a new quiet place. Also, you can make sound pads to soundproof your work space.

    This video was recommended to me I been looking into using my brother pe 535 this is a great explanation on your process on embroidering thanks for the tips, a tip for you is to learn how to use compression and other sound fxs to cancel background noise. I know one of your viewers recommended voice overs which is another great idea, I know loud neighbors can be fustrating but think of ways to make the best of it you'll probably enjoy the new things you'll learn, good luck with everything blessings man

    Good evening A Dubb Productions. I have been watching your you tube channel and must say your approach to and with your audience is very different and intriguing. I am 66 years of age.. I'm having to change careers. Began embroidering... and heard you speak about digitizing for embroidery. Can you share a lurks mire in that. So great to watch you.... you help me bit to be afraid of mistakes or short sights. Starting over in life is a bit unnerving. Thank you for being so real with your work.

    Another EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!!!! I love how much you show on each production. There are lots of tips and ideas, specially for me that I am just going from an old Brother ULT 2002d single needle machine to a multi-needle one. But I am curious, do you use double sided tape to hold stabilizer on place while hooping? I am used to do that with my projects, and that helps a lot!!!! Another question, where did you get that hooping station for your jacket? I will need one for the projects I have in mind for my daughters. They are in their School Varsity Cheer leading team, and I would love to do those jackets for them, the way you did that one- Is a MASTERPIECE!!!!! Thanks again man, you always very informative, and easy going comments!!!!!!

    I saw a black wool coat, with a big cross embroidered on back, with black thread.
    I know less than nothing about this, so, I'm wondering if this effect is really complicated with wool, and same color thread.
    It wasn't even loud, until I got close...
    Then, WOW. It had shading and everything like the cross was 3d.
    Subtle til it wasn't.
    What would a 18" tall cross cost, same effect.

    I'm about to stitch on a jacket. I opened the sleeve and added a patch. I'm about to change the name on the front (someone spelled it wrong). I've already destitched, but do I need to open up the liner before embroidering the new one? Or can I just stitch through the liner? There's a small zipper to get into the bottom of the liner, but not to fully open it up. Is that going to screw it to if I embroider through the liner?

      That was in digitizing. I should have adjusted it before I embroidered it. You have to set the start and stop points opposite of the angle lines or you will get that every time. Can you embroider directly in the leather sleeves?

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes to a certain point because the arm of the sleeve has to be able to fit onto the machine and move around left to right enough to embroider the design. If it’s to tight it will move the part your trying to embroider and lose registration. So I’d say you can all the way close to the half way point (elbow part)

    I would of changed the stitch angle in the FC and also had each letter stitch separately. and there is a start stop line in there. Kind of looks like a auto digitized File. Also Why didn't you use the 5.5 fixture for the left chest.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t just change someone’s design and separate the FC. That’s not what they requested but I get it. Angle line and start stop point i should have made different yes.
      Auto digitized definitely not. What software are you using? Auto digitized would never give you anything looking like this. I would have to strongly disagree with you on that. You have no idea what you are talking about I’m sorry clearly you don’t because I did use the 5.5 hoop. You clearly see it in the video. Even if I might have mistakenly said the wrong hoop size everyone knows what the 5.5 sizes hoop looks like. But i get you. Thanks for watching. Do you embroider? I’d love to see some of your stuff. I’m guessing you don’t digitize at all because no auto-digitize can give you this quality. You don’t even own a 5.5 inch mighty hoop do you? Clearly you don’t know what one looks like. I could be wrong. Doubt it but, i could be….. but I highly doubt it.

    These is a visible diagonal line on the C in the back, what caused that?

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The start stop point have to be opposite the angle of the stitch or they meet in the middle causing a line at the meeting point. I should have changed it but sometimes when digitizing I forget things.

      75/11 most of the time. I have 65/9 and other sized needles also but generally all my machines have 75/11 in them.

    Is it ok for a middle aged guy to walk around wearing a varsity jacket or does it look bad for him to do that??

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it’s fine. It’s a jacket. It’s nostalgic. It’s fashion. It’s his. I have several and I have other jackets as well.
      I personally don’t care what anyone is wearing. As long as they are happy and not bothering me I’m fine.
      He can put on a dress if he’d like, my life is still gonna be fantastic. Our opinions on what someone else is wearing does not matter. We can talk about it but why? I’d rather make his varsity jacket keep building my business while minding my business. I think people of all ages can wear a varsity jacket. If you’re 90 and the varsity jacket looks good on you I’m all for it.

    I see as you are cutting the stabilizer from the back. You did not unzip the lining and stitch just on the wool alone. Now you have made it inaccessible or harder to stitch patches on the sleeves. These quality jackets have that sip open lining for a reason. It also makes it a nice clean job.
    T do the sleeves if you pull the sleeve out and unzip the lining all you need to do is unstitch the leather sleeve and do your work. I do not embroider on leather sleeves I do sew chenille patches or patches on leather sleeves. After stitching your item then you just need a sewing machine to stitch back the sleeve seam. I have been doing it for 40 years. It is doable.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the tip. The sleeves are always sewn shut at the cuff. Do you have a video showing your process? If not can you make one.?

    • @1954evelyn
      @1954evelyn 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@adubbproductions I will look I just have been sewing patches on varsity jackets for so long. Yes, the sleeves are stitched at the cuffs and you do need to be cautious not to remove the leather stitching too close to the cuff. As it is hard to get a sewing machine foot close to the cuff to stitch the leather or lining part stitched I usually can go to around 2 inches of the cuff. Then I also blae a safety pin across the stitching line so I won't accidentally open the sleeve lining or leather too fat. This happened once and I had to take it loose and stitch and restitch the cuff. It is a hard stitch if you are trying to stitch it without an industrial machine. I will look for a video showing how to do that. But the back and chests should be pretty simple if you find the invisible zipper and unzip the lining from the body. The embroidery is so much nicer if it is not stitched through the lining. Unfortunately, the Amazon jackets that customers bring in do not have an invisible zipper and I have to stitch through the lining I do tell the customer upfront that it can be an issue with "bubbling" when the body and lining are stitched together and if there is more than one line in the design that can be an issue.
